I'm looking forward to the VW because I think the other dances all look pants so far... Let's hope I'm wrong.

They are stretching this programme out a bit aren't they, with only 5 couples left.

I watched the last hour of DWTS last night, it was like wading through very sludgey mud, endless ad breaks and so-called pro dancers who didn't look that superior to the celebs. How do the yanks suffer that every week and the guy who fronts it is such a 'square'. To top this I already knew who won as somebody blurted it out in work ..... surprise surprise it was Donald Osmond, I'm sure he's never been arrested in his life!! They even gave him a singing spot to bolster his appeal ..... and they call it Puppy Love.

Why??!

I was just about to make this thread, before I saw this one I'm on my own tonight so I won't get told off by mum for 'tapping on the keyboard'

For some reason, I'm just not excited about tonights. Gven the stage of the competition, I'm surprised, because I'm normally right into it by now.

I'll still be watching of course, but it'll probably be half-heartedly.

I don't even have the excuse to hop over the XF when I can't get excited about SCD, because all the excitement went out of XF last weekend.

Hopefully, it'll change when I heard the SCD theme tune kick in. Fingers crossed.... (I am looking forward to the new dances though.)

I am looking forward to the VW too...it should be great fun and will be interesting to watch how the couples act.

I don't like either of the new dances but I am hoping that they go better than they looked on the training footage. At least then they will be dances I dislike but danced well as opposed to danced badly.

I also hope that both Ali and Ricky are able to put their troubles of this week behind them and dance as well as we know they can.

I can't watch live tonight either as I've agreed to wait for my husband to get home so we can watch it together. I'm having surgery next Wednesday and don't know when I'll be back online again.

Best of luck with the surgery Buddy. It will be very strange not having you post on here. I hope you get back soon.

No.1 sons' 25th tonight so I shall be recording it as well. Judging by some of the training footage I've seen I can watch it when I get back in place of my usual saturday night horror film

PS: I hope it all goes well Buddy and you're back asap

Off to Paris from Friday onwards, only getting back late afternoon for the final. All going well, I may be back in time to see the result .

Good luck with the surgery Buddy - I'll be thinking of you x x x

Have company tonight, so doubt I'll be able to watch the show live either. Am secretly hoping for a few collisions during the VW though!

I can't believe it is time for Paris already - time really does fly. Maybe you can pop on here after the shows? Hope it all goes well for you though!

I'm think about watching the show live until my husband comes home and then watching it again from the start with him pretending I haven't already seen it!

I can't believe how quickly it's come round too

I will definatly be around though as it'll be my only source of Strictly knowledge whilst I'm away. I'll make sure to pop into the ITT thread from time to time aswell .

That's sounds like a good plan

I'll try not to wear him out and will send him home after Strictly has finished
