I can't believe how quickly it's come round too

I will definatly be around though as it'll be my only source of Strictly knowledge whilst I'm away. I'll make sure to pop into the ITT thread from time to time aswell .

That's sounds like a good plan
Glad you'll be online when you're away! I think it sounds like a good plan too!

I'll try not to wear him out and will send him home after Strictly has finished
Be gentle with him sweetie <smooch!>

Next week it is.

No doubt we'll hear about her a lot this week on ITT and she'll probably make an appearance at one point.

We couldn't get rid of her for the first two weeks and now it's like she never existed .

I'm think about watching the show live until my husband comes home and then watching it again from the start with him pretending I haven't already seen it!
You can pretend you're psychic!

Good luck with the surgery, by the way!

Seems the most likely segment to be on, unless they give her her own interview instead - be an improvement on another Len segment anyway, which get more frequent now seeing DWTS has ended.

Have you watched the final yet Buddy ?

Judging by some of the training footage I've seen I can watch it when I get back in place of my usual saturday night horror film
SCD tonight could be the horror movie!!!!

I'm part way through the results show, but I know who wins because someone posted it on here about an hour ago!

I'm really not sure about Darcey.

Nor me.

I think they hired her because she's a big name. But I don't believe she's going to add much to the panel to be honest. I found her a bit drab on ITT as well.

The DWTS final was great - I was thrilled for Donny, and especially his pro partner Kym. Their showdance was really something. By contrast, Mya's was a total let down.

Yeah, I reckon she's going to be a waste of space, to be honest. If they were always going to add another judge, why not one with some ballroom dancing background to try and redress the balance? I know we've always had a 3:1 ratio on that score, but 4:1 is taking it a bit far!

I got part way through the result but found it tedious all the recaps so just watched the final routines and skipped to the result. A great end to another series, prefered it to the season earlier this year anyway.

And I think Darcey won't get excited or enthusiastic enough for SCD. She seems very reserved to me and along with the panto that seems to be growing week by week she'll just be sat there looking like she'd rather be in the audience. Be interesting to see how she judges though - Alesha's voting seemed fairly close to Arlene's so didn't make a major difference but Darcey could end up being another Craig for all we know.

Maybe Darcey will surprise us - I hope so anyway.

Kym is my favourite female DWTS pro, so I was pleased for her too. I must admit though, having moaned all through the series about Mya bossing Dmitry about when it came to choreography, the one time she lets him have his way he let her down. Their show dance should have been truly spectacular. The only thing about Donny & Kym's show dance I was ever so slightly disappointed about was that I didn't see any of the dance steps he learned during the series!

I agree, for me it was like Mel B's which was just as underwhelming.

Forget Alesha and Darcey.

They should hire you and me Zan. We'd shakes things up

(If I can tear you away from your bondage gear that is)

They really spin out DWTS! A 2 hour result show!

I watch DWTS on my laptop and ff through the show at different speeds according to how much I want to see each bit! I really enjoyed this series too - better than the last one!

I think one of my concerns with Darcey is she seems rather reserved.

I often felt like Mya wore the trousers in her and Dmitry's relationship.

I think she's a savvy girl. She knows what appeals.

But even if they'd gone along with her suggestion, I get the feeling Donny would still have won. He had both the dance ability and the vibrant personality needed to attract votes.

Absolutely.

I thought Mya looked too similar to Mel B in that leather costume she wore too - it just wasn't original enough.

I LOVED Kelly's Tango - if only she could have danced at that standard all night! I can't get over how much I liked her - such a nice person!

Haha, but I'm far too biased! Ricky Whittle could come out and do Zoe Ball's tango and I'd still give it a 1.

I'll make a deal with you.

I'll give your favourite a 10, if you return the favour

Hmmm. See I don't have a favourite any more, so I feel I get the rough end of the deal here!
