I often felt like Mya wore the trousers in her and Dmitry's relationship.

I think she's a savvy girl. She knows what appeals.

But even if they'd gone along with her suggestion, I get the feeling Donny would still have won. He had both the dance ability and the vibrant personality needed to attract votes.
I think Donny was always going to win, not just because of who he is, but because for a guy who is almost 52 years old, he worked incredibly hard to produce a great standard of dancing throughout the whole programme. He listened to the judges comments and gave Kym 100%. He was the compete package - he could dance, perform and entertain. I say this as someone who was a David Cassidy fan too!

They really spin out DWTS! A 2 hour result show!

I watch DWTS on my laptop and ff through the show at different speeds according to how much I want to see each bit! I really enjoyed this series too - better than the last one!

I think one of my concerns with Darcey is she seems rather reserved.
Well they seem to encourage past dances from previous series to return and dance again a lot more on DWTS than SCD. It was very rare that Penny got to dance in Blackpool yet we had half of the DWTS cast from series 1-9 appearing at some point .

Looking forward to the next series. As it's No. 10 I think, and hope, they'll do something special for it

Dmitry need bossing around IMO from time to time. He's seems to do what he wants, not in an old Brenda way, but as if he's confused as to the idea of the show. If he was on SCD he'd be ripped apart from such choreography

Hmmm. See I don't have a favourite any more, so I feel I get the rough end of the deal here!
Oh I'll make it up to you in other ways

SCDancing - I agree with you. It wasn't the first time Dmitry was short of ideas, he needed a nudge. Is he a new pro? I don't recall him from previous series....

He was there last series, but went out fairly soon - all I can remember is that he had someone who wasn't famous at all really and had no personality what so ever, and was only there as a substitute.

I feel left out because I don't watch DwtS. I watched the first few series but got annoyed with how unrecognisible the dances are. I know they use a different standard, but I don't like it.

I can't watch live tonight either as I've agreed to wait for my husband to get home so we can watch it together. I'm having surgery next Wednesday and don't know when I'll be back online again.
Just adding my very best wishes to everyone else's, Buddy

xx

Good luck Team Cola!

I'm so nervous about tonight, don't want to lose My Little Chris.

I dont wish them ill but I think Laila and Natalie for the DO tonight (with Natalie going).

He and Ola looked quite impressive in rehearsals, he isn't my favourite but I think that he will do very well tonight.

I'm all set and quite excited this week, I've been watching Pathe clips of the Charleston all afternoon on Youtube to get into the swing as it were. I've decided when I get my time machine up and running I'm going back to the 1920s, looks like fun in a more innocent, yet stylish way!

Good luck to Natalie and Vincent!

I know that they are probably the favourites to go, along with Laila and Anton, but they've had a very good run in the competition and I will continue to support them

I never have either Zan - until last night!

There I was - all on my own at my Dad's house - my Dad who has Sky TV - oh, what shall I watch all night - hang on! 3 hours of DWTS!! Heaven (although they DO spin it out and the adverts drive me crazy!)

Yeay Donny! He was amazing! All the finalists were good but his performance was great. (I heart Donny )

Anyway! Back to tonight!

Unlike some, I am really looking forward to it - and I'm actually at home for it for the first time in weeks! Woo - hoo!

Bud - loads of love for Wednesday! Be thinking of ya!

I'm thinking Laila should probably leave tonight - but I wouldn't be devasted if Ali went. Is it Ali who's dancing to Paolo? Not fair! That's MY Strictly song - me and Darren are going to dance to it!

It's OK! As she's injured, it might be rubbish! If it's rubbish it means you're allowed to use the song again - it's only if it's iconic you're not allowed to!

There's good iconic and then there's Lisa showdance iconic!

I'm part way through the results show, but I know who wins because someone posted it on here about an hour ago!

I'm really not sure about Darcey.

True dat. I'm unsure of the the rules when it comes from "iconic but rubbish". I suppose we'll have to cross that bridge if you and Darren decide you want to dance to Meat Loaf!

NEWS: Strictly's twitter has told us that Natalie is wearing a big blue bow in her hair! At least - barring a dye job - it's not made of her own hair..?

I've made a bit of an edit as I've realised that that made no sense!

I want to cry already.

I sincerely hope they're referring to the Charleston rather than the RnR...

They've also let us know that Ricky is wearing a salmon pink shirt. I'm so glad I know.
