Best show of the series in my opinion, loved the Charleston, loved the Rock'n'Roll, loved Riverdance. The whole show just brilliant, pure entertainment - fantastic.
Agreed, the first show I have enjoyed for a while, apart from Blackpool.

Agree with the general sentiment here. Last nights show was, as Craig would say, FAB-U-LOUS!

The charleston & Rock'n'Roll dances brought a new level of fun and excitement to the show through all the elements. There was more banter in the green room, the judges were more riled up and the audience were actually alive this week.

I think every year they should devote 1 of the episodes to wildcard dance routines like the charleston but only for that 1 episode so Strictly stays close to it's format/values.

The only down point was Natalie & Vincent being voted out. They were such a great couple and Natalie was really the only celeb left in the competition with personality. I predict it's going to be more 'serious' for the remainder of the series.

Riverdance was the highlight of the show and a pleasant surprise as I didn't realise they were going to be on last nights show.

Let's hope the ratings for last night's show average 10 million. It deserves it.

I can't watch live tonight either as I've agreed to wait for my husband to get home so we can watch it together. I'm having surgery next Wednesday and don't know when I'll be back online again.
Sorry to be late in wishing you well Buddy, I was out last night and only online this morning. When recovering take care not to read this forum too much, or you might bust some stitches!

Its a real pity that this programme is now so up itself someone who has improved goes out to someone who is no better than they were week one. Still, there we go.....

Perhaps we the public can get an improver to the final. We have just one left!
Err..

That's like saying "Five" increased from "Three" is more than "Six."

I can never understand the logic applied sometimes when someone's "favourite" goes out.

As for Natalie's "personality" it was really beginning to wear a bit thin for me.
It doesn't make up for ability in a dance competition.

I think Natalie was as competitive if not more so than any of the remaining dancers. She would have been 'serious' as well.

Having watched the video, just a few comments.

Both Natalies were too heavy for their partner, so an RnR was always going to find them out. Ms Lowe had to be so careful coming down from the lifts that they practically stood still to readjust each time.

The choreography they gave Ali and Brian was genius, allowing her to show off her strengths while putting minimum strain on her foot. I bet she'd had a painkilling jab as well. though. I saw on the VT that it was her heel bone which took the hammering on Monday. She was lucky that it wasn't the ball of the foot.

Laila was very very good but Anton was absolutely brilliant in their Charleston. This was not a good thing because the judges noticed the difference, especially CRH.

The VW was a farce for the viewers because of poor camera work. The only way we could really judge who was best would be if a camera followed each couple round for 20 secs in a full-length shot, and the dance lasted slightly longer than normal.

Alesha had an above-average night, as did Bruce. I loved his comment to Ricky about "perhaps not having as much training time as you would've liked". What a lovely gentle way to joke about his paparazzi moment.

Gosh, Anton's Charleston was great! Didn't think he had it in him!
Ricky had a stinker in the RnR.
Cola were fab-u-lous!

I couldn't believe how good Anton's Charleston was
He was brilliant and it's so nice to see him getting praise for his dancing
His latin is lacking from the others but his ballroom is superb imo and so was his Charleston.
Loved all the Charleston's last night thought they did a great job.

Anton is better than most give credit for. His jiving (with pro partner) is good. It's just that his face doesn't suit latin.

Ive avoided the forums all night but just wanted to say Im so happy Ricky stayed in and his dance in the DO was brilliant. He must have been under so much pressure and so nervous I can understand him going wrong. Natalie C, although she gave it her all, deserved to be sent home tonight, she was the weakest. I really felt for vincent tonight.

It might be too much to ask for, Im just hoping for a scandal-free week next week with great dances and hopefully Ricky, Ali and Chris will get through then.
Totally agree drbolognaise!

Ricky's rock and roll was a completely different dance in the dance off - amazing - and proved why he should stay.

I wanted to reach into the tv and give Natalie and Vincent a big hug - but it was the right decision. I shall miss them though.

Still not engaged by Ali. I was slightly peeved that she was marked higher than both Chris and Laila - I enjoyed their Charleston's better than Ali's.

Marking the group VW's - straying into DWTS territory here - and a bit pointless. I enjoyed seeing them all do it but it shouldn't have been marked.

Ricky and Chris did brilliantly by leading their pro ladies.

Thank goodness lovely Darren and Lilia were there to distract us from James Morrisons terrible singing!

A great show - I am loving having it all on one show and not having to wait until Sunday for the results.
