Lily Allen's Current Tour
I saw Lily Allen last night last night in Brixton.
Has anyone else seen her on her latest tour? I thought she was absolutely amazing. When i have seen her perform live on tele, i thought "oh she's alright" but being at the front and actually seeing it myself I just found her fantastic and she put on a great show. |

Yep, saw her in Swindon last Sunday. Brilliant show and really enjoyed it. I was stuck at the back but it didn't spoil it one bit

I saw Lily at a Will Young concert last year, she must have made notes. Only joking

I found her supporting Act Example rather entertaining but i couldn't fully enjoy it because I have never head their music.
Lily kept changing her costumes. Especially her wigs. She went from blonde/black, to a black bob to a funky blue one. It was really interesting. She rocked each look. She was full of attitude but not in a way where she comes across arogant. She discussed her views on politcs before performing **** You. And performed a song about the war that the label refused for her to put on her album. Forgot the title. I really loved her cover of Naive which I had never heard before but knew she covered. The crowd went wild for Not Fair in which she did an extended edition which also ended the show as well. |

I went to see Lily in Birmingham last Tuesday and she was amazing. I can honestly say its one of the best gigs i've ever been to. (Ok that might be a bit biased as im a HUGE Lily fan) but it really was a great tour. She is very down to earth imo and knows how to involve the audience, which creates a great atmosphere. Although my biggest shock of the evening was seeing Jamie Afro in the audience!!!

Reading these threads with interest as I'm going to see her in Cardiff next Friday. Looks like it will be a great night.
