I sincerely hope not. Im not a fan, but if it did happen, this isnt the way to end up in the bottom two.

OK here is how it is possible. If its close tonight and theres a few ties with the judges I think he or Ali will be in the bottom 2 with Natalie C

Im sure the judges will vote to save hime even though perhaps after yesterdays scandal they should maybe take the opurtunity to get rid

1.Ali 5+2
1.Ricky 5+1
2.Laila 4+4
3.Chris 3+5
3.Natali 3+3

of course if Nat and Laila swap postions then ts Ricky and Ali and I am sure Ricky would be a gonner this week againts Ali

1.Ali 5+2
1.Ricky 5+1
2.Laila 4+3
3.Chris 3+5
3.Natali 3+4

I think it's possible he will be. It all depends on how many of the casual voters - those who don't care enough to read the full story - will just decide that he's been arrested so he must have done something bad.

So will you vote for him?

From the training footage and judges comments on ITT last night........I think Chris will be above Laila on the leaderboard and might even pip Ali or Ricky (both of whom have had training issues this week)

Probably not. It may even work to his advantage as he may get the sympathy vote. I certainly feel sorry for him. I don't normally vote for him, although I think he is an excellent dancer, but I may this week.

Don't forget that there's the VW scoring to be added. The judges will probably be able to 'correct' the leaderboard if they so wish.

He'll get a couple of votes from me too.He has had a bad week and he has done some marvellous dancing and has really entertained me over the weeks although he isn't my favourite.

Possibly but I still like to think that Chris will be higher than Laila on the board........I think it will be Laila in the dance off with either Ali or Ricky unless chris or Natalies support collapses

It wouldn't put me off voting for him. If he dances well I can't see it affecting the voting much.

But it might have a negative effect on his actual dancing. Its got in the way of his training and build-up and he'll probably be distracted by it tonight - as he'll be wondering what the public's reaction will be.

I think it's very likely. Not only because his arrest for assault has been on the main news and that is sure to put off quite a few voters, but because Ali will probably have the public sympathy due to her injury and the fact that she's back dancing and I think both Chris and Natalie have very strong public support full stop.

I predict a Laila and Ricky bottom two tonight.

If that happens do you think Ricky may put his hand up and say its best for him to leave due to outside problems?

Err..

I can't see how this can affect the voting for him in any way.

We're dealing with "The Great British Public"
It might actually improve his chances.

I mean if anyone so bad can get the public's support for so long as did Jedward.....

Although that might make your punt on Laila safe for another week, I hope not! He has as much right as anyone else to be there.

Well not if he has brought the programme into disrepute

I don't usually vote, but I'll be voting for Ricky tonight. He deserves a place in the final and I don't care much about a member of the loathsome paparazzi getting a few bruises.
My wife has been voting for Chris, he seems popular with everyone I know and from what I saw in training this week, he may well top the judges leaderboard as well.
I'm not so sure Natalie is as popular as many people seem to think, I think she will be in the dance-off with Laila.

How has he done that?

He hasn't actually been charged with anything - and who's to say he will be?

Last time I respond to your "get Ricky out" posts.

Your motivation is clear - you're back on the wind up in the hope of manipulating DS opinion.

It didn't work before and it won't work now.

I so hope your views re. Mr. Whittle are representative of the GBP - you've given me hope

I think Laila will probably be in the bottom 2 - Alastair Campbell and Malcolm Tucker have nothing on Anton in super spinmeister role on ITT last night - not criticising him - he's doing his job but it was a jaw dropper!

I don't think the arrest will have anything to do with it. Most people aren't going to think better or worse of him for that. But I didn't think his r 'n r looked too great in rehearsal so this is a test of his public popularity at this stage of the competition.

It's a light entertainment programme 'starring' a bunch of TV presenters and bad actors. How on earth can it be brought into disrepute?
