I certainly wouldn't be voting for him now.
I don't recall you being one of his biggest fans prior to yesterday or have I got that wrong? |

It's a light entertainment programme 'starring' a bunch of TV presenters and bad actors. How on earth can it be brought into disrepute?

Bhoy you do realise that by doing this kind of thing you may even influence people TO vote for Ricky because nothing gets peoples backs up more than being told they shouldnt do something.
I didnt start off voting for Natalie but I sure as hell do now because of all the horrible comments about her weight and other things on here. |

I won't vote for him as I never have. I vote for Ali. But I don't think his arrest will make much difference to voting figures. I hope he gets to the final with Ali

I certainly will be voting for him as usual because:
a) he's the best dancer for me b) reading the reports of the incident show it was more an unfortunate accident, not a deliberate assault c) I have been in a similar car crash and know how he must feel and let me tell you, its nothing good...its pure guilt and horror and shame d) he remains innocent in the eyes of the law until he is convicted. |

I so hope your views re. Mr. Whittle are representative of the GBP - you've given me hope
![]() I think Laila will probably be in the bottom 2 - Alastair Campbell and Malcolm Tucker have nothing on Anton in super spinmeister role on ITT last night - not criticising him - he's doing his job but it was a jaw dropper! But, having watched every series, winning a bet comes secondary for me to wanting the "correct" result. I still want the best contestant to win..and that's Ricky in my opinion. |

Can't see anybody who has supported Ricky changing their minds based on the incident. I guess a few floating voters might not pick up the phone based on it but can't imagine it would be enough to make a difference.
I think the biggest impact of his arrest will be on his own performance both in training hours lost and maybe the worry affecting his showmanship. |

Having seen the rehearsal footage during the week I don't think that Ricky will "sell" the dance as well as some of the others. I think that both Natalie and Chris will really "come out here and deliver" as Len loves saying.
I haven't seen the figures but get the impression that have had less distractions this week as, in addition to Ricky's situation, Ali has been injured and Leila has been abroad for work. I think that anyone could be in the bottom two tonight and it is too close to call. |

Err..
I can't see how this can affect the voting for him in any way. We're dealing with "The Great British Public" It might actually improve his chances. I mean if anyone so bad can get the public's support for so long as did Jedward..... They charmed and entertained the public, winning people over with their fresh youthfulness, unflappable temperament and cheery good humour in the face of constant abuse, and their fun, unpretentious personalities.

Good luck to RW for tonight, if there is any justice he will not be in the dance off.

You put money on Craig K, Laila and Chris. Hence your attempts to create hysteria surrounding Ricky W. |

Indeed. He is not my fav but it would be awful to see him in the dance off (I won't even contemplate the thought of him going home). We have already lost Jade, we need to hang onto as many good dancers as we can for the final.
I agree. |

I've read the article about this in the paper today, but not too sure why he was arrested in the first place. It said that he went to the police station on his own to explain what had happened. In no way did he do anything intentionally or wish to harm anyone, so what's it all about, I ask?

I heard on the radio that, 'cos Tiger Woods crashed his own car into the fire hydrant outside his house, the police are going to question him. I guess it's all about due process but sometimes the world's a confusing place ![]() Anyway here's hoping Ricky does a boppytastic R'n'R and and a fab VW - I'd be no good as an Arlene type judge - can't do alliteration
