Er.... What About Now IS a cover of a Daughtry song?

The two book ends in this group must sick of mimin to the other twos vocals.

I was thinking exactly this when I saw that article a few weeks back. Can't they do something other than covers now?!? They're still working with Louis (I think) so he obviously has a big influence. God knows why :yawn:

Just like Mark said - if you listened to the album you would see there is only ONE cover on it and that is what about now.

Am sick of people saying all they do is covers.

No covers at all, so they have written and recorded these songs entirely by themselves and are not using other people's material at all?

and your point is? its not the point that theyre doing originals is that people assume all they do is covers when thats not true. people should check their facts

who cares if they do covers or not. they're still the worst abomination in music of the past 10 years.

All they release is covers though and the rest of us are sick of them. The most boring bloody group on the planet.

They shouldn't really boast about that when the song deemed best for the lead single was the only cover on there.

I think thats what bugs a lot of people sometimes. They release these songs that most people don't even know are covers. They don't go for obvious big hits to cover, they go for songs like Michael Buble and Daughtry which were never huge hits over here so their fans just think its an original.

Its like when Leona covered snow patrol, a lot of people hadn't heard the original and so just assumed it was her song.

I really doubt that's the case with Leona and 'Run'. That song was their first big single, was used in countless television programmes for years, and was a big favourite at all the festivals.

Westlife were massive in the early '00s but people seem to be under the impression that they're as big as they've ever been... no one gives a shit any more.

a few weeks ago Mark said that they had 'done too many covers in the past'. then they make their comeback with an almost identical cover of a recent song! they'll never change. but i think they were being clever by covering What About Now, because it's not likely that many of their fans will of been aware of the original.

It wouldnt be so bad if they at least tried to do something original with their covers. "What About Now" just seems like it is taken note by note from the original.

Who does the album cover have Syco Music written on it? I didn't know Simon Cowell had anything to do with them......plus it looks like an amateur job.
