The outcome is going to be a complete anti-climax. It's going to take something particularly special to interest me.

Maybe Hollyoaks should have one hour-long episode a week or something...

It doesn't really do the fantastic job Kirkwood did of Sarah's death justice....

The trial is less than two months after the murder - in the real world it wouldn't happen for another six months or so, so can hardly be called "dragged out", and the whole thing will be resolved by the end of the year.

Also the storyline hasn't been dragged out on screen - it's been allowed to remain very much in the background - not forgotten, but far from dominating the show for weeks on end. Just have a bit of patience.

I think it's actually ridiculous the trial is so soon too, but I feel they could've done more with what they have in the last couple of weeks. It seemed almost forgotten about a mere day or two after the accident, apart from the very tedious Archie scenes and the forgettable funeral. The scenes immediately following the accident with Zoe and Mike, and then Lydia's suicide attempt thing, were really good, but it did get very quiet and bitty after that and I agree that because of that, it's going to be a total anti-climax. People seem to have forgotten about Zoe, and we haven't seen much of her dealing with it (anything we've seen has been spread over such a long time it kinda got lost). So much happened in such a short space of time in the Laters, and came to a halt so abruptly, that I've forgotten how Zoe managed to get locked up in the first place.

Well it's not ending yet with the trial. Lydia's going to keep her antics up afterwards.

It should have been made a bigger deal of though.
