The ITT clip of them practising the "swimming" routine was brilliant - Ola was laughing her head off - for me it was one of the best moments from this series of Strictly.

Eh? What is it about Goughie & Lilia that makes it inappropriate to compare? What do you know that we don't? Spill, please!

It may be insignificant but I did notice that Ola's hands remained on Chris' shoulders during two or three consecutive visits to the Tesspit.

Clearly he was complaining of a stiff neck.

Or she was preparing to tweak his nipples when off camera.

Tell me more about this nipple tweaking

Chris deliberately cupped Ola's breasts last week, as shown in their practice clips on Saturday night.

I've only just realised this means Sid is really John Barrowman! OMG! He is my fantasy husband!

That wasn't deliberate! The same thing happened to me when I walked into a school book store while reading, and reached for a shelf without looking up.

Fortunately, the lady involved did not take it badly, and we afterwards became bosom buddies.

I just think they are great friends who are very comfortable with each other, and have a lot of warmth, affection and laughter in their friendship. It shines through their training and dances and is one of the reasons why I love 'em.

Yes but she could do with getting rid of that hubby of hers

Totally agree with this post and that is the reason why I am going to vote for them.

They seem great friends.
They may fancy each other but, as Bruno says, you'd have to be a stone not to respond to Ola.

They are enjoying themselves and smile a lot. That makes people more attractive. To each other and to everyone else.

Even James seems to be more relaxed. Perhaps he derives some special benefits from Ola's success and popularity!!!!

It made me laugh too , but more becuase I had this image of a very serious girlfriend who never smiles .!!

Well a lot of women viewers want to mother him - which is part of his charm and wins him lots of votes.

Why would she want Chris when she has James

Her and James seem a really well suited couple

Completely agree. I always thought she was grumpy until seeing her being fun (and fairly bossy at times) with Chris.

She's gone up enormously in my estimation.

Their relationship reminds me a lot of Aled and Lilia. Lilia was horrible to him but in a nice way

He seems to have the same sort of temperment as Chris too... steady, easy going nature.

Indeed and good for a laugh too. I suspect Lilia is kicking herself that she didn't get partnered with Chris - the two of them could have done really well together. Although it's only fair really that someone else got a chance at success.

No disrespect to Chris but why would Ola want beefburger when she has steak at home? I don't believe she fancies Chris at all.....think she's madly in love with James but it is lovely to see her having such a giggle. I always thought she was such a sourpuss but this series has been the making of her.

They are very tactile so I don't think there is likely to be anything going on.
I'm sure if James felt that those kisses and cuddles were anything other than affectionate then they would be more restrained.

No, Ola doesn't fancy Chris. I remember Chris saying somewhere that Ola told him that James is taller than him, better looking than him, and a far better dancer than he'll ever be. She just thinks he's cute.

I was reading a magazine article last week, in which Chris said when they finish Strictly, the four of them will be going out to dinner together, and that he will teach Ola how to play golf.

I think they are very good friends. Had Chris been partnered with Flavia, Erin or Lilla, I still think he would've got on with any of them just as well.

You've missed the "s" off the front of mother.

I think they fancy each other quite a lot actually.

But there is a line they have drawn and each knows the score and they feel safe with each other.

I think this is why we see such chemistry, they are friends, but there is a sexual chemistry, but it is safe.

As for Chris being unattractive, I disagree, he's very warm and witty and self deprecating. He is charming and attractive. James is more obviously hunky, but I don't think his conversation would be anything near as amusing as Chris'.

It's not all about looks.

I think Chris is gorgeous and I'm a gay woman!

It's his honesty and effort and his joy and the way he relates to others. He seems a well-liked chap in his own circle with lots of people who value him.

I think he's great. James is more (I hate this colloquialism but you know what I mean) "up himself". But, as a consequence of Cola this year, I am fostering a mild fondness even for James!!!!
