I predict there'll be no elimination this week.

I am an eternal optimist.
I hope you are right......but they seem obsessed with keeping to their schedules and seem unable to think beyond their timings and running orders.

OMG!!!

Bonnie- you are a star!

Its interesting reading though!
Isn't it just?
Who would have thought there would be so many options for bottom of the leaderboard to get through?
It's still anybody's game.

(Thanks btw )

You are more than welcome- I would give you a very festive mince pie and bottle of fizz if I could! (I love Christmas!)

Fingers crossed then seems to be the way forward!!

Ho Hum- nothing changes in SCD land does it

The only way - we're all tying ourelves in knots thinking a) is unfair to couple y and b) is unfair to couple z, it's swings and roundabouts for every couple.
(Must get therapy for this thinking in cliches )

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to post the permutations and combinations. It would be quite beyond me.

I cringe at asking such a stupid question, but I'm confused - we're 2 weeks off the final, aren't we? Isn't this the quarterfinal coming up? I am assuming we're 2 weeks off a 2 person final, unless they have a 'nobody goes home' card to play and if they do it will be next week not this week. No?

This week:
Chris will be ripped to shreds for his samba but his waltz could save him with the public. At least he's got a waltz for the dance-off, but let's be honest if he's in the last 2 he's going, regardless of the dancing, unless the other couple actually sits down. The VW scores are the judges' order of the couples now, imo.

Laila: lovely AS and could get a sympathy vote for the salsa if Craig really lays into them again. If she could come out and attack the salsa, she might really turn a corner, but I'm losing faith it's going to happen.

Ricky: ought to have the best night, but again I'm losing faith he's got either the time or something to learn 2 dances and get them right. Natalie needs to go for a simple foxtrot they can do perfectly and get 38-40 for.

Ali: She'll top the leaderboard whatever. I disagree with others that I think their tango will be good. Again, if she can come out and go for the samba, it would be great to see that change.
I broadly agree with the all the above.

This is complete deja vu...last year's QF like this year's QF. Ola should make the waltz as technically good as she possibly can because it might be the thing that saves their bacon. But I can see all the others' ballrooms being marked up and theirs marked down..

Seems Ricky is in time trouble again so although he will dance ok whatever I can't see him doing better than Ali. Who should have the best night if she can pow it performance wise.

I think if they are going to have a nobody-goes-home-to watch-it-on-the-tv night it will be tonight.
That way Darcy is eased into her Judge's position without having to vote someone off and they will have a proper 4 couple semi final

This is what I'm hoping too.

But then, I believe in happy endings.
