Ricky and NAtalies Rock n Roll was pretty lacklustre 1st time and deserved the lowish marks it got, but OMG the DO was fantastic they were awesome had they done it like that 1st time round they'd have got 9's and 10's.

I really hope next week Natalie and Ricky are as good as they can be cos when they are on they are terrific.

I thought he gave a fantastic performance the second time around, it was like the competitor in him came out and he wasn't going down without a fight. I loved it.

He did a great job. It was just a pity he was given such a rotten dance to do in the first place, he might not have been in the bottom 2 at all then

Totally agree, was underwhelmed first time round but they nailed it in the dance off, fantastic dance.

I thought that the greatest improvement I have ever seen between first attempt and dance off. Interestingly, Natalie was much better too. I thought she was quite weak first time round.

Me to Laura - I was really nervous but he and Natalie absolutly nailed it - it was fantastic.
He has obviously had a bad week time lost on training and things on his mind etc however he really uped his game.

DO - ricky might well be out in next cpl of programmes - but please, after tonight's DO, let no-one say he can't dance..

I love Ricky when he dances like this!! Ali and Brian have always been my faves but Im really starting to like Ricky and Natalie they have had a hard time and public dont seem very receptive of them.
Their Quickstep, American Smooth and this 2nd Rock n roll tonight are fabulous the need to be in the final!

I expected RW to be in the D/O this week simply because of the events of Thursday night/Friday morning. I had him and Laila in the D/O for my King Predictor actually.

But I have to agree, and have just written this on another forum - they really did improve beyond recognition in the D/O and thoroughly deserved to be kept in the competition. The 2 D/O performances were incomparable IMO.

I totally agree. The first attempt was lacklustre and clumsy - the second was right on the money. Hopefully falling into the DO will be a wake up call for Ricky. With his ability, he should be scoring in the high thirties as a matter of course at this stage, no matter what the dance.
