re the chubby comments - I saw Lilia in the flesh at Blackpool and she is actually tiny and really quite slim - I just don't think the camera's do her justice at all

Apologies, then. The threads I've seen tend to focus on the female pros - certainly last year in the other place there were a plethora of threads going on and on about the slightest curve any female pro showed. And in general, the larger female celebs get far more comments about their figures than larger male ones.

I'd be willing to bet a good proportion of the posters on this thread would love to be as "chubby" as Lilia in real life
![]() I saw her in the flesh about six months ago (in latin dress, so "in the flesh" is not that much of an exaggeration), and there is genuinely nothing of her! I thought she looked great last night, although the catsuit itself was not actually that nice! Nothing of her! Er..where were you looking? Those catsuits are an abomination. Even on the svelte Ola, a red catsuit is hideous and does nothing for her. Very naff, in fact. And Lilia should steer well clear. Does nothing good for um...generous nether regions, chunky thighs etc. |

Hey Hey Hey! Can we leave off derogative comments using words like chubby. My observation was that she looked curveyer (which is not a bad thing). There is nothing wrong with a voluptuous figure AND she is still tiny. I think her body shape maybe changing in a natural way hence my speculation about baby curves.
Can we stick to posting our own opinions and lay of suggesting what others can or cannot say, if it isn't a direct reference to you? It's called "board etiquette." |

I didn't like the catsuit. I didn't like it when Ola wore one either.

I think you will just have to accept that some of us are long-limbed, slim-hipped coltish types. Can't help it. Sorry.

I didn't think the catsuit suited Lilia at all, not because she is chubby as others have suggested, but because she is short. It made her look shorter and wider than she is. For example, short women are recommended to wear knee length coats rather than long coats to make them look taller. In the same way, legs all covered up made Lilia look shorter.
Laila is always gorgeous, and has that rare combination of a fantastic body and face. She is delightfully proportionate as well - in and out at the waist, tall, and good boobs. Ola also looked gorgeous in the charleston outfit. Which goes to show, sometimes wearing more makes someone look prettier! She looks good in those revealing outfits, but she really doesn't need them to make her look feminine. |

LOL, if you people think Lilia is 'chubby' or 'fat' I'd love to see your faces when you saw real fat! Don't really love the catsuits on anybody, but fact is she's got an amazing, toned, healthy and mantainable figure.

The outfit wasn't her finest hour but I hardly noticed it beside the dreadful incongruity of Darren grinning inanely all the way through a song about the tragedy of breaking up!

Nothing of her! Er..where were you looking?
She's truly very small in real life (and very very pretty )

Er... that doesn't conflict with my opinion that a good proportion of posters are considerably "chubbier" than Lilia is. Did I say everyone who posts on this thread is overweight? And you don't have to apologise for your figure, not sure who you think it bothers
Funnily enough, I was looking at Lilia She's truly very small in real life (and very very pretty )I meant where exactly you were looking. ![]() It is surprising to me when people say she is tiny or very small in real life. Of course I know that television can magnify, but if she is tiny, Ola and some of the others must be downright minuscule. |

I too saw Lilia in the flesh about six months ago (in very short latin dresses) and she is indeed very tiny !!!! |

I saw Lilia in the flesh recently, wearing non-dance clothes, and she was TINY, a slip of a thing. The catsuit emphasised every curve, it's true, but what's wrong with that? And whoever said she was 'pear-shaped' – she's just woman-shaped. Someone like Erin, with a slimmer-hipped body, would have looked good in that outfit, yes, but I thought Lilia looked wonderful in it too, just in a different way. There's nothing wrong with a woman being short, having noticeable hips, or having smallish breasts. Lilia looks fit and toned and, for me personally, is more attractive than a Camilla type where you can see the bones poking through.

It's called counter evidence. Who it bothers might be you as you are the one who brought in posters' (alleged) chubbiness.

Nobody would look good in that get-up. Even the very slim-hipped Erin would look naff. What was it - snakeskin or some sort of animal print fabric? Hideous, anyway.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, but I don't think it is counter evidence. Unless you know some of the posters on here personally, you're just speaking for yourself. Whereas the evidence for the GBP at large is that the average UK woman is a size 14. Hence my suspicion that a good proportion of the people on here calling Lilia chubby would actually be quite pleased to be her size!
