Has anyone used these?

Are they any good/better than GHDs?

Many thanks

PLEASE if you love your hair, don't buy these! I bought some and used them for the first time on Friday. On Saturday I took them back to Boots. My hair has completely frazzled and I'm going to have to have a lot of it cut off this week. They ruined my hair and made it frizzy in one go.
When I took them back the girl at the till said it had happened to her friend too. Be warned!!!

Thanks for the warning, sorry to read your hair has been damaged by them. Can you sue them?

It sounds like they should be withdrawn. How can they sell things that damage your hair like that?

I bought the type for thick hair and they worked really well, but one day when I using them, they literally exploded. At the time my hair was dry, so it wasn't a water/electricity thing! Shame really, because no other brand has worked as well.

I had a pair years ago, but didn't use them for long.
They didn't style my hair as well as when I dried and straightened separately, and I also wasn't very comfortable with the concept of it.
I wouldn't swap GHDs for these in a million years.

They should be withdrawn and if I ever see anyone buying them in a shop I'm going to warn them. I've never seen a product that can cause so much damage to hair

Ive heard different reviews about these, im not thinking of buying some i'm just curious maybe you're just not meant to use them on soaking wet hair? and use them on slightly damp hair instead maybe?

I have these and they are fantastic for thick hair (I have mixed race curly afro hair) but NEVER use them on wet hair!!!!

I have no idea why they say you can do this and not damage your hair, a hairdresser friend advised to use on completely dry hair with a product to protect the hair on it first, I use Kera Care conditioning creme hair dress in small amounts on the hair before I straighten.

I would recommend if you have lots if frizzy, thick hair but only on dry hair!! I have tried GHD's thicker hair straighteners too and I have found them as effective, if you are really unsure, go for the GHDs

They should change the name if they shouldn't be used on wet hair.

Remember Sun-In?

These do sound pretty awful, hairdryer and straightener in one? Can only imagine how much heat it is putting on your hair

As far as I can remember, the product guidelines said to use them on damp hair only.
Kind of defeats the purpose if you have to faff around getting most of the moisture out beforehand.

Remember Sun-In?
I'm surprised I have any hair left considering how much Sun-In I used as a teenager!
