I suspect they have to place Anton and Laila last on the leader board whatever they do on the night.
Laila and Chris will most likely be the bottom two of the leader board, not because of a great conspiracy but because they are the weaker dancers.

Lisa may not have been popular but she was a good dancer and that is what the judges judge on, not popularity. The fact that you clearly disliked her does not make it incorrect that the judges should have scored her on her performance.
Lisa's ballroom was OK but overscored and her latin was hideously overmarked - all deliberately so, as either the judges, the producers or both were determined to get her to the final.

If she had been judged fairly, fine. But she wasn't - others were marked down so she could be marked up.

See, the ghosts of SCD6 are still haunting the forums ...

But don't forget we have a new judge who may just stand everything on its head!

Then you are seriously misguided in your beliefs.

I actually think he was in great danger of going out last night. No matter how many times people say it, I am not convinced that "favoured" one this year . If he hadn't changed the routine in the DOhe would have gone. The judges would have said "it wasn't his dance", and/or he "lacked the enthusiasm". Len told him the other week that he could go the way of Austin Healey, and I now believe he was being set up for a fall last night.
I totally agree. He has always been the frontrunner, but like so many other frontrunners, has failed to capitalise, and still has rough edges which should have been ironed out at this stage.

Whenever the public favourite doesn't match the dancer with the best ability, there are always going to be accusations of favouritism. I never believed Emma Bunton was overmarked (she was actually a very talented dancer) but she was a threat to public idol Mark R, which meant there had to be a conspiracy. The same sentiment applied to Lisa and Austin.

The less contentious years are when a rare celeb comes along who is (on the whole) lovable and exquisite on the dancefloor, like Alesha of Jill.
