hmmm

sauce

'I had finished sitting with my legs out to the side at a right angle,' recalls Jade. 'All week while we were rehearsing, Ian had just left me to get up off the floor by myself. It looked rather ungraceful.

'But then, during the dress run he suddenly decided, without telling me, that he would help me stand up. I was pushing one way as Ian was pulling the other and my left knee twisted. I heard a pop and felt an instant stab of pain. I just burst into tears.'

You missed this part.

`I am absolutely gutted. Ian and I had stayed in touch in the whole time and he came to my physio sessions. We're very close and he's incredibly disappointed, too.'

Jade says she does not blame Ian for her injury, but she does feel cheated by her untimely exit from the competition. 'The worst thing about it all was I felt as if I had just found my confidence,' she says. `

That isn't her blaming Ian.

She is just explaining what happened.

Oh clearly she does.
What, when she says:
"Ian was shocked - he was incredibly apologetic, but it wasn't his fault"

That's "blaming Ian" is it?

How's that work then?

Clearly? Clearly to anyone with an agenda that gets in the way of the facts as written that is.

Thanks for putting that right Tissy; seems like the 'editing bug' has even reached the forums eh

I am truely shocked that someone could think Jade would blame Ian for this. I didnt know Jade at all before strictly and wasnt sure about her at first, but she gradually worked her way into my heart and I wanted her to win (and Ian too ofcourse who is a sweetie) after she withdrew she wrote a lovely blog entry on her website which prompted me to send her a message via her website. I got a lovely email reply....I am convinced it was from Jade......she had nothing but wonderful things to say about Ian and how she so wanted him to get the trophy. She in no way blames Ian for what happened. Jade is one of the positive things about this series for me.

It makes you think when you see threads like this. The poster clearly has a problem with Jade personally.
