i bet she blames him just a little bit
![]() How did Ian get hold of Jade? If Jade gave her hand to Ian then she consented to be lifted up, but she would not have known quite how Ian would pull or the strength of a strong dancer's pull, that being the first time. Risky, responding by reflex action without rehearsal. Darcey herself retired at age 40 partly because she found the regular unavoidable ballet injuries took longer to heal. |

I do not have the means to replay footage of the accident.

Speculation is only relevant if you believe what you read.
I don't for one minute believe Jade attached blame to Ian. |

She is implying, ever so politely, that the injury was his fault. Perhaps those whispers at the start of the show, that she was unpopular because of her arrogance were true?

There is no way Ian could let Jade get up by herself on the night. It's just not done. It would be perceived as the height of rudeness for the man to leave the woman on her own on the floor once the dance is done.
Don't you even know that? I do! : ) |

If she didn't do that, then some other bunch of conspiracy-minded people would then start screaming about The Big jade Injury Mystery. So, in short, she can't win. Quote:

![]() Are you implying Ian deliberately injured Jade because she was "arrogant"? |
