Another poster mentioned it on another thread and it hit home with me. All that mugging to camera is a turn off for me. He's like a mini Donny Osmond. Too smarmy and cheesy for me. He's a funny guy but its counterbalanced by all that look at me I'm such a cheeky chappy.

Yes - it's the reason I've gone off him completely. I enjoyed his charleston with Ola, but those faces are so... irritating that I'm not really bothered when he leaves (as long as it's not as the winner! ).

Point being he's a 38 yr old man .... their "yeah baby, we're such cute little hobbits" routine has become quite pathetic

Quite. It'd be fairly pathetic if he was a six year old - but he's nearly 40. Sigh.

I like Chris and Ola but i must admit it is becoming a bit boring and annoying hearing the same old lines repeated again and again.

Furthermore, he is a boobie grabbing little hobbit. Did anyone notice that in rehearsals?

I agree though, its becoming boring.

They will win no question .... and it's sad because he really isn't that good

But popularity plays a huge part .. and he always wins all the polls

I never thought I'd see a negative Chris thread on here. I must admit I'm surprised!

That's because all the other little hobbits on here complain to DS and get them closed down ... this one must have slipped under the radar

Little - yes
Man - yes

Creepy, weird? That's harsh. You make him sound like some pedophile in the school playground. I'd love to know how hardworking, friendly, pleasant, genuinely nice to his fans, honest and having a great relationship with his partner constitutes as "creepy" and "weird".

I can't believe we've now effectively got a Chris hate thread. I should have known it would be a matter of time.

He is such a try hard though and the way he paws at Ola like a drunk bear is unpleasant.

Fans of other contestants are starting to feel threatened by the one couple never to have been in a dance off, I think

It happened with Tom last year.

This is rather an unpleasant thread isn't it, and please don't tell me not to read it as this would defeat the purpose of a forum.

I do understand that people might not like Chris and Ola's dancing, because they prefer better dancers or because they do not get the partnership. Saying that he is a weird creepy little man is actually quite offensive, and shows how lovely anonymous a forum is. I don't think anyone would want to tell him that to his face. As for having fun when you are 38 and behaving childish, so what? We are very lucky that we are living in a time, when people don't have to behave in a certain way. I'd rather spend my time with someone who knows how to enjoy themselve then with someone who acts their age.

By the way, it's possible to support your favourite without bashing other contestants for their looks (because it's seems to be that his height is one of the main criticisms on here).

I would buy that if I thought it was his personality - and in the beginning, maybe it was. Now, I can't help but think that they know that their "personality" is popular and as such will ram it down our throats at every given opportunity. I actually don't dislike either of them, but I just wish they'd cut back on the "WE ARE THE HILARIOUS TEAM COLA!" stuff.

Well, my favourite cannot win (unless they decide after her tango in the final to open the 'phone lines for her as well! ), so I'm certainly not feeling threatened!
