What do you think?

Next year the celebrities could be those from past series who had talent or appeal but left too early.

The BBC could ask the public to vote for interested contestants in good time for the production team to make their usual arrangements.

I suggest that all the contestents should have had strictly experience because this would level the playing field a bit and guarantee a higher standard.

Should the cut off point be any stage before the semi finals?

I would like to see several people back, and not just the celebs I liked.

Louisa Lytton would be great, so would Spoony. Gabby Logan was not my cup of tea but it would be good to see if she 'got' the artistic side of dance this time.

I think Gaby certainly 'got' the artistic side of dance - she was an international rhythmic gymnast and imo a far better dancer than Penny Lancaster.

I don't go along with conspiracy theories but I do remember before the dance off it was announced that Rod would make an appearance on ITT. It would have been pretty embarrassing if he'd done so just a few days after his wife was voted off the show - I've always wondered since then if the judges thought it prudent to vote for Penny at the expense of Gaby.

I do admit that Penny was much more likeable than Gaby, but was she a better dancer? Not in my opinion.

I also found Penny more likable but not such a good dancer. I thought at the time that Gabby, perhaps because of her background, was treating Strictly too much like a sporting event. I would have liked to have seen her develop as an all round dancer if it was 'in her' to do so.
