Olly was excited to get through.

I would like to see some of the moaners on this forum put in his positon and see how they act.

To people defending his behaviour, I think that Simon was happy too but he still managed to go and say sorry to Lloyd. It doesn't take much to go and shake someone's hand.

British people generally prefer dignified winners and despise bad winners.

Maybe he should have burst into tears on Lloyds behalf.

He completely ignored Lloyd.

His excitement for getting through doesn't support his reaction.

Simon is a used to the show and its ups and down, also Simon hasn't got anything to lose, Olly has.

Not a good comparison.

Unless you are in Olly's positon on that stage with the build up etc, I don't see how you can say you wouldn't do the same thing.

It was very inconsiderate. I'm not a Lloyd fan in the slightest (I've wanted him out from the start) but his dreams were ending; he didn't need it rubbed in.

No, I can definitely say that I wouldn't do the same thing.

No matter what the build up, it's called manners.

It would not have taken a minute to walk over and shake Lloyd's hand. Wasn't expecting Olly to be bursting into tears and handing the Kleenex out.

No decent person would react like Olly.

No. Just to shake the lad's hand and wish him well.

The point of this thread has obviously gone way over your head. "Grow up" indeed.

I don't think it would have taken much to console him for roughly 4 seconds.

The British public have every right to moan. They will never accept Olly after that. His vote next week will collapse.

It's moments like this that reveal the true person though, and last few weeks there's been quite a few moments of it from Olly.

The superlikeable facade has slipped, and as it's the personality that was always better than the singing you can't blame people for going off him.

He's a wannabe, I liked him at first but he couldn't keep the act up. He's Big Brother fodder.
