You're welcome to him. Please take him, and ensure he's employed all year round.

Your voice can not remove the kindness other Brits and Irish have already provided.

BTW ---- read your history and see how the YANKS helped you a few wars back from speaking GERMAN.....

There is not a chance that Fox will allow Ryan to do X Factor too when he has just signed to Idol for 3 more years.

If you have only seen Dermot on thsi show you have no CLUE as to where his real talents lie. He was a brilliant presenter of the Big Brother spin off show, BBLB - but he sucks hard as a suit-wearing, smoothie, staid Big Saturday Night Show presenter...

I love Ryan Seacrest, but I think we will keep Dermot, thanks. You can't have it all over there you know!

How about we take Cheryl and give you Paula & Kara.

On that note, Why did she decide not to do the Xfactor US? Has she patched things up with hubby?

Also, is Simon doing both X factor US & Idol?

Oh I'd love Paula, we can sit and talk about rainbows, fluffy kittens and rainbows and then she could finally tell me exactly what used to be in the cup on her desk during Idol Kara you can keep, never warmed to her at all

He's a lot better this year than last, more jokes and mockery.

But that high kick when he first steps out on the stage! I half expect him to start on some old Dean Martin song...

It may have been his sad attempt at humour!
99% if not more would have been curling their toes. But, your reply, to me, showed how paper thin your kind remarks to us Brits really are.

Feel free to take him! He annoys me so much, especially his stupid entrance when he air drums to whatever song is on! And then fails, and gets it wrong. Utter knob.

Used to really like him on BBLB, now he obviously thinks way too much of himself. Not funny, just irritating.

Madam, if you really want Dermot that badly then I wish you all the best with him.

It will be sad to see him go to more profitable shores, with the loss of his intonation only Bonnie Tyler will be left to cover these merry Isles with such vocal gravel.

But let's not limit Dermot to merely the voice of a thousand flirting Cherubims. There is also his screen presence with which an entire nation will have to adjust to losing to our more extravagant cousins.

How on Earth we, as a nation, shall bear the loss of a squat gnome like simulacrum with the oxygen of well off Essex being piped through it's nose, how are we to bear the loss of the raspy iron filing filled cropped haired cheeky little bagatelle of a teddy bear, how shall I tell my children that the stumpy armpitted dwarf warrior in an ill fitting suit with his cheeky demeanour and all round entertainer style, akin to picking bits of old cabbage from between an old woman's shit encrusted toes, how madam, how am I, indeed, are we, as a nation, to bear the loss of all of this?

Typical American, seduced by all of Dermots good looks and surface charm without ever appreciating the deeper, brooding Dermot that we will all miss.

I hope you appreciate him. But I don't think you will.

Oh! I would also like to say that I love most Americans and all of them in general. Loads of US mates love the country and the people in it.
I just had to say that to follow my previous blog.
It's just that none of them or neither would I mention the WW1 to press home a point regarding who were the best and who were the heroes etc.
The very fact you mentioned this absolutely horrified me. It showed that your so called comaradarie with us is basically patronising. as soon as some idiot makes a remark, and it was a massively stupid idiotic thing to say, and I and many others would have appologised or unreservedly for his idiocy.
I lost family in that war and it was a long long time before the Americans came into it. Only after Pearl Harbour when they had to come into it.
We had many brave soldiers who lost their lives and there were plenty who died from friendly fire from your soldiers. There is much much more to say on this but this is neither the time nor the place.
You did not win the war you loaned us the money to buy the weapons and you were paid back with interest.

Repay the kindness by writing in a language vaguely reminiscent of English madam, and I for one am quite happy to call it quits.
