Because everyone has an individual tastes and are therefore entitled to 'rate' whom they like. Everyone's opinions are their own, and are not necessarily shared by all and sundry.
We can't all like the same people.
Of course, it would be nice if some of us could stop being so personal about people we don't actually know and have never met and simply comment on their dancing ability.
But that's never going to happen on these boards. I sing the same refrain every year and I'm tired of doing it now.
