I certainly think that she may be costing Ricky W votes. Not only does she seem a little unlovable in her own right, but she doesn't bring out his engaging side and her coreography hasn't always been the best.
I can't help wondering what might have been if Ricky had been paired with any of the other pros -except perhaps the other two newbies, but including Karen and Camilla. |

I don't get the almost James Jordan (after his first series) levels of hate for her. She's got gumption, she supports her partner and pushes him to perform, her ballroom choreography is impeccable (her Latin I'm not so sure about), she's entertaining, she's trying her hardest to adapt to a fairly perverse audience and dance styles that she's never done before.
I'd be glad to see her back next year, but I can see why she wouldn't given the incredibly bitchy response to her. She's popular enough in Australia, I doubt she'd be jumping at the chance to return to this nest of vipers. |

Well said Monkseal - I think she's fabulous - her ballroom choreography is easily the most exciting of all the pro's. Typically, some forumites feel the need to have a go at any potential threat to their own favourites.

I am in two minds about Natalie - she is undoubtedly a good teacher though do think her latin is lacking a bit but mainly like others she grates on me a lot not sure why though!

I think Natalie WILL be back simply because, like her or loathe her, people talk about her.
Which people haven't been invited back after one season?... ...Need to look up their names? Exactly. Kristina stayed as the blonde bombshell. Brian stayed as the goofy, but talented and caring, kid. Aliona I think is doomed, unless she's cheap or has a "patron" within the SCD circle. Katya is borderline; I think she'll return as she said nice things about being "welcomed into the family". I personally would have her back because she has a cleavage to rival Erin's, i.e. it doesn't need squeezing together to show up. The only thing that could count against Natalie is her size. If even Ricky Whittle has trouble landing her from a lift, then you know the number of men who can handle Natalie is limited. |

Don't get the hate for her: I like her. However she is a rather cool, quiet character really, as is Ricky Whittle so that probably doesn't help matters. There's no obvious fun and goof with them like there is with 'Cola'. And their relationship/partnership seems very self - contained so viewers aren't really allowed in. However I like them. Brian and Ola seem to get very angry with their partners (which I don't like) and sadly I just don't like Anton. Ricky seems to like her and that's all that bothers me really. Of course Ali and Chris really like their partners too.

I'd be glad to see her back next year, but I can see why she wouldn't given the incredibly bitchy response to her. She's popular enough in Australia, I doubt she'd be jumping at the chance to return to this nest of vipers. I like Natalie immensely - and I think for her, and the other two new girls who have come into the show from different countries, it can be hard to "get" the vibe with each country's show if you have come from somewhere else - each show in each of their countries is different, and has a different way which pleases the public of each show. Australians are famously competitive - it is not the dirty word that it is in Britain, and it is seen more as a fun thing there to compete. It doesn't sit well with Brits somehow - and this is probably why she doesn't come across that well. I personally like her immensely - and I think she's good at listening to the comments as well - doesn't strop, and takes it on board. I would very much like to see her back, and for all of us to be a bit kinder to all of the new girls trying to fit in to the UK show - its harder than it may seem, I think! I also LOVE her partnership with Ian Waite - far more than his with Camilla - and am really enjoying that this year. Would LOVE to see her back next year. |

It's utterly nonsensical. We all have favourites and people we don't care for and we all have a moan or a rant at one time or another but the hate campaigns here are pathetic - they go right back to Zoe Ball in Series 3. It's always women too I've noticed, always the young, attractive women that just brings this level of nastiness and based on what? NOTHING! Posters on here are so fond of saying "It's only a light entertainment show, not a dance competition!" and yet the approach to contestants and professionals isn't 'light entertainment', it's got all the hallmarks of really nasty competition and spite. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Natalie Lowe - she's talented, professional, dedicated and competitive and seems like a lovely, lovely girl. Dear God.

Seeing as Ricky and Natalie seem to be the most humble of couples and seeing as she, unlike some, doesn't lose it with Ricky in training (well not that we've seen). I think its because she's a woman and got a good un her first series and I guess the 'gossip' (and it is just that none of us know) that she naped the best looking bloke doesn't go down too well with people either. And she is a quiet, rather cool headed person. However it does just seem to be this forum everyone who just casually watches it loves Chris and Ricky but most people are of the opinion that Ricky will win. |

She's too competitive for the fragile Brit audience. It doesn't do to look too keen you know. Good excuse to give someone a kicking though, as several threads on here have proved.
Her and Ricky seem well matched with a good working relationship that it seems relatatively free of drama and 'olachopsness' and this probably does them no favours with the audience. Like I said earlier they don't invite the audience in and its a very self - contained partnership. The R and R gut said they look like a couple when they dance and I think that may be some of the problem on this forum. They don't seem to really dance for the audience at all; just eachother. If you get me I know what I mean in my head. |

But I don't even see her being over competitive. I see her being positive for Ricky and wanting him to do well but I haven't seen her be a bull dog. She seems far too quiet/reserved if you ask me.

I blow hot and cold with her.
In a way I admire her ambition. She hasn't traveled half way across the world to be a wall flower and get knocked out first round. And when she saw who'd she be partnered with, I bet she thought all her Christmases had come at once. It brought out the competitive streak in her. But sometimes I sense she wants it too much. And I can't help but be put off by that. I'd like her back next year though. See how she comes across with a different, less gifted partner. |

I was going more by the accusations that are being levelled at her at the moment - Australian sports fascist, smirking, grinning when they were saved - all that kind of despicable behaviour.

Hear hear to all the posts in favor of Natalie L!!
I think some people are jealous of her. If she hadn't been given a good looking and naturally talented young man to dance with she would have been popular. Her pro quickstep is my favourite pro dance of the series. |

Whatever people think. Everyone sees what they want to. I didn't see anything like that. Just the normal behaviour exhibited in this show. Infact if anything I see very little of anything from her. I don't think we have any idea what she thinks of anything, even Ricky. Lovely girl but rather aloof and reserved.
It's interesting people keep saying how on earth she would have been with a less abled dancer, and I remember her second season on dwts where she had exactly that! They called him a dancing building (Ian Roberts) and she was really lovely with him (though bless him, he wasn't very talented!). |

Well the way I see it. There is a complete doubt standard. If she was losing her temper and punching the walls like Brian does with Ali (and he does even though they seem very 'fond' of each other) she would be satan. BUT Brian is fine and because Natalie is a bit of 'say it like it is girl' people, on this forum, are giving out about her. Complete double standard.

It's a shame they don't appear as often on ITT.
