She is the best singer with the broadest appeal.
She is nice, but has an edge, unlike Leona.
She has intrinsic intelligence, originality and cool when it comes to performing that shines through the conforming format of the xfactor and can be nurtured.
She has recording artist appeal. (Olly is definately stage material, I'd love to see him in the Westend, I like Joe but he is a bit cheesy, so second place for him. and who is the other one again?)

So fight the Power (Cowell and Cole --the two c's) who will be trying every trick in the book to undermine Stacey.

"She is the best singer with the broadest appeal"....I don't think she is the best singer. She has a nice voice but she struggles very badly in the lower range of her voice.

"She is nice, but has an edge, unlike Leona". She is nice in a dim-wit sort of way.

"She has intrinsic intelligence, originality and cool when it comes to performing that shines through the conforming format of the xfactor and can be nurtured".... I almost wet myself when I read this one. She certainly has an intrinsic intelligence that comes across every time she opens that enlarged gob of hers.

"She has recording artist appeal. (Olly is definately stage material, I'd love to see him in the Westend, I like Joe but he is a bit cheesy, so second place for him. and who is the other one again?)"...oh please! But I do agree, who is that fourth one again?

I notice you didn't mention her extraordinary beauty, dancing ability, etc....

I think she’s good but I don’t think we’ve seen enough diversity from her. I kind of agree with Simon on this point. Would love to see her doing something upbeat that would show off her personality more.

I said when it comes to performing, not when she's asked inane , drivel by Dermot. The mark of a great artist is how they transform themselves on stage. Freddy Mercury, Bob Dylan, Elvis are/were all notoriously awkward and shy when it comes to interviews.

For me, she and Danyl are the only ones that i can say, i would actually watch them preform or listen to their song on itunes. I don't get all this Joe love and i think Cheryl has alot to with all the hype he is getting. He is a very good singer but he doesnt have that overall package that some singers have.

It was unfair of Simon to call her a wedding singer. It's not like the others are any better. And if we have a final made up of 'wedding singers' who selected them in the first place? He had thousands of people to choose from...

She's good enough, and during her more serious pre recorded interviews she does come accross as the dippy Dagenham Stace, but whenever Dermot speaks to her after she has sung she seems like she's putting it on a bit, she sounds seriously demented...sorry!!!

She is the best singer with the broadest appeal.
She is the best singer with the broadest hips.
She is nice, but has an edge, unlike Leona.
She is nice, but has an irritating Essex accent, unlike Leona.
She has intrinsic intelligence, originality and cool when it comes to performing that shines through the conforming format of the xfactor and can be nurtured.
She is an archetypal 'dumb blonde', who couldn't keep her knickers on, who has an average voice in a contest of average voices.
She has recording artist appeal. (Olly is definately stage material, I'd love to see him in the Westend, I like Joe but he is a bit cheesy, so second place for him. and who is the other one again?)
She has as much appeal as a brown banana.

I'd like to see her get her teeth into a Whitney song next week. Although she could end up looking a bit goofy if she can't pull it off.

She is a nice girl and everything but I wish she would sing something that sounds a bit different from all the songs she has done already. And belting isnt doing her any favours - she is just getting compared to Leona/Alex. She needs to go back to singing coldplay or something. Or even........... something uptempo!

Leona did the same thing in 2006 and won the show. Cowell only compares Stacey to her because he does not want anyone to be better than her.

Stacey to win. Vote people!

oh thank god, finally I have found other people who see stacey for the absolute embarrassment to the human race that she is. she isn't at all versatile, which the judges never seem to comment on with her, yet they do with everyone else. everything she says is completely moronic and just painful to listen to, and some of the things she comes out with just display how utterly stupid she is (example: "before you go on stage you get this feeling like you need a poo and you're like oh no I'll have to hold it in and then you get on stage and the poo feeling goes away" - to be honest stacey, I don't want to know about your bowels). and that thing she does with her head when she talks, the weird head bobbing thing, and the enormous, demented grin.
god, I can't stand her.

so yeah, stacey shouldn't win. to be honest, I don't think any of them are really on the same level as previous winners.

I agree that Stacey's a great singer, but as for winning, I think that place is reserved for Joe.
