Foxsat PVR - problem with linked radio recordings

Since the firmware update I have had a problem with linked radio recordings. Its fine if you programme in a single recording, but if you go into edit and make it a weekly recording then next time you look at your schedule it has become a recording at 03.14 to 03.14 am", and naturally it fails to record. This fault is repeatable and seems to apply regardless of which radio channel you try to record.

Any one else had this problem?

This is an issue created by the new firmware

Thanks for pointing that out.

It took me while to realise that you have to move the highlight line to a blank schedule entry and then edit from there.

Did Humax do this deliberately or is it something else they have broken?

Surely if this was a deliberate action by them then they would have had the common sense to have disabled the edit feature (yellow button) when the highlight is on a program that has been added by the usual EPG selection method. They should only allowing the user to press yellow and edit schedules that have been entered manually.

If this was deliberate then its sloppy and not very well thought out!

No, it's rushed incomplete programming - it reminds me of the year 2000 bug. It looks like there is some sort of date it can't find and it simply goes to the last date in its system - Looks like whatever happens these boxes won't work after 2039.

How sad - perhaps we could have looked forward to New New Freesat ++++++

More seriously, just one sweep through the bugs and it would be really good. From my point of view, the above issue is joint no 2 with the timeshifting problem. No 1, by some margin, is the volume issue on the SPDIF output. (My audio system doesn't support HDMI and is not due to be replaced anytime soon. )
