It actually is! I can't really stand SuBo but that song is ace. It reminds me of The Power Of Love.

Susan Boyle reminds me of the Boomer from Left 4 Dead.

She sounds a bit like one too.

It's the song that's brilliant, not the singer.

Wild horses couldn't get me to buy her album.

She makes a decent job of it, in the way anyone that can sing would do.

However, the original is light years better.

I'm quite sure wild horses coudn't drag her away.

A team of dray horses might manage it with some effort.

I like the Gram Parsons version but she sings it pretty well.

It's not a bad version, but the album as a whole exposes how much of a plain singer she actually is; it will please her fans but it will not impress anyone else.

Her poor neighbour apparently has had enough of her playing wild horses on her cd for hours on end

Listening now on Spotify. Her voice is certainly very fine, sometimes beautifully toned, but man is this album slow!

I hope she signed a kick-ass deal and makes a stack. Yeah, why not! One in the eye for all those plastic divas.

BIG problem with that single.... it is Autotuned to hell, and the choruses are "cut and pasted"...

Shame really... she's a great character wo can really pull it out of the bag when she has to....

Any version is better than Jaggers whining voice, but shouldnt the lyrics be changed to "Graceless Fella", as its sung by a "Woman"?

It's a brilliant song, full stop, hence it's been covered so many times.

I actually (although would never admit it beyond these four digital walls) like this version. I like the female vocal and love the higher keys/notes used.

She does omit my favourite line from the original; "Wild, wild horses-we'll ride them someday" which is a bit of a sin, as is most powerful line in song.

Elements of this song were inspired by Marianne Faithfulls brush with a drugs overdose, not sure Subo is emoting that when she sings it, but that hardly matters.

8/10
