But they are though. Even claiming his charleston was worth a 10 and other silliness such as they were undermarked. Everyone knows that their fancs are voting for him because they like him or find the couple cute. It is when they try to persuade those non-initiated to the cult of Cola that he is a great dancer that they face more antipathy and jeering. Which I think is pointless as nobody ever left a cult because they looked ridiculous. People who mind looking like a fool or being fleeced don't join in the first place.

I think Bruno telling the papers that the judges had a shock to see Ricky in the dance off shows that.”

I totally agree and said similar on another thread.

The BBC's senior management lives in a little bubble with very little awareness of its audience or the outside world - and Strictly's execs are clearly part of this.

Which will, ultimately, be their downfall ...

It's very easy to generalise and tar everyone with the same brush.

It's also inaccurate.

I must be not reading those posts then

I have seen a couple of people say he is a great dancer but mostly they are others saying he is an entertaining dancer and they love him for it. Which is fair enough.

I find it all the vitrol baffling aswell. I love Chris & Ola to bits but i'm pretty sure they'll be going this week.

I'm confident that he'll pull off a great waltz and an alright samba...even if his technique improves by Saturday...he'll still be marked down over something as silly as his facial expression not looking relaxed enough while Ali & Ricky will get away with a few wobbles here and there. So there's really no need for fans of other couples to be that worried...it's not a 100% up to the public at this stage

I would doubt very much if any of Cola's fans would argue that he is a great dancer, show us some examples of people who have said that. Thinking someone is undermarked is not the same as saying they are great dancers.

I don't think he will go this weekend. I think he will go through. Or at least I hope he does.
