I never tire of her singing Wind beneath My Wings or watching the movie it featured in.

Love Bette

If that's another track we can slow dance and smooch to, then it gets the thumbs up from me

Will Bette have her music pre-recorded or will Arch's combo do it live

If Bette does her usual thorough research and finds out about the injuries saga, she could consider bringing back an old character of hers, Dolores Delago, the Toast of Chicago. She comes on stage in an electric wheelchair with attached cocktail tray and plastic palm tree. Her leg is in a plaster cast and she demolishes some stage props with it as the wheelchair goes out of control. Could Brucie get out of the way quick enough?

But, let's face it, we'll be getting something from the latest album, and if that's a compilation it'll be WBMW. Pity.

But she's already sung that on Strictly either last year or the year before, so I don't think it'll be that.

You may well think so; I hope not as well. But I wouldn't bet on it.

When she performed last year, I thought she was TERRIBLE. Out of tune, can't even reach the high notes, total disaster.

Not looking forward to her singing in Strictly again, tbh.

I'm afraid it will be "kettle on" time in our house when she's on, to say she's not a family favourite is to put it mildly.

Yup, for me, it would be the toilet break. But then I watch SCD through iplayer (don't own TV nor bought the licence), so I can always ff her segment. Oh, the joy of technology!

It was Wind Beneath My Wings last year so I'm assuming it won't be that.

I wonder what Matthew and Aliona will be performing for us this week though............

Yes, I'm afraid unless she's been having some serious vocal training for the last year, she won't be able to sing properly as her voice had definitely deteriorated last year.

It's going to be a modern fusion of Ballroom and Latin called the Viennese Fox-ba (cha cha), interpreted with the liberal use of my lounge curtains, and wind machine and an ill-fitting swimming costume. It'll still be gorgeous though

How ill-fitting will the swimsuit be and which one will be wearing it? Dozens of deluded women reading this thread are hoping you'll say Matt.

They share it - there'll be a quick costume change half-way through - that's what the curtains are for
