None of the competitors left in can deliver a latin dance worth a 10, or can they? Is they're hope for a great latin dance this series?”

Could it be that most of the great latin numbers are murdered with some dreadful, totally unsuitable modern music and not the authentic latin beat.

We saw last week how great the Charleston can be with the authentic music and a great performance from the band, and great choreography from specialists in the dance.

Just posted the same Paace it definitely is and as I have said before the right Tempo - they play such slow sambas and salsa's and jives that it spoils them - in the year Alesha danced I remixed her Salsa and her Samba and to different music they look like entirely different dances vid quality not wonderful but you can see what I mean

Yeah, it's definitely the music that ruins the Latin dances, why the show seems to think carnival=disco is beyond me.

Thanks bendy, you did a brilliant job there in the remixing, and it brings the magic of the latin dances to the screen. Some of the modern stuff is so dreadful and distracting I have to mute the sound to try and appreciate the style and rhythm of a particular dance.

Modern music can be transformed to dance music we buy a range of dance music specially mixed for young dancers and these are done well using the right tempo but the stuff used on Strictly is plain awful. I really feel they should have a big look at the music and the band to be honest

They need to get back to basics and play some decent tunes.
