If anything its the other way around.

There have been several really nasty threads started about Chris on here in the past few days, fair enough these people dont have to like him, but they are far more personal and spiteful than anything Ive read about Ali.

I know its getting close to the end now, maybe some people are panicking that their favourite won't win? Chris has never been in a dance off after all

Its bad enough when posters can't just support and defend their favourites without slagging off the competition but when they resort to spiteful comments about the fans of other contestants its really scrapping the barrel of pettiness.

His fans are nasty, well hers are spiteful, well his fans are goading people

Seriously - grow up!!

The mis-spelling of 'tweak' is the notable feature of this post ...
tweek, tweak, pinch, grab, I think you got the point. It's all so freeky. freaky, weird, whatever - but so sick

And the most notable feature of this post is the word 'whatever' ... says it all, really!

And, in fact, where in the original message quoted (raving idiocy that it was) was there any evidence at all to show that it was from a Chris fan?
As I am responsible for that thread...(thought to self: would that make me a raving idiot then....cool ). I'll come clean...

YES, I am a Chris & Ola fan...and to be fair I obviously was/am speaking for myself...but apparently the truth can hurt

I've been rooting for team Cola basically from day 1. Clear reasons: best chemistry, growth in performance, sparkle..
And I wasn't spreading pure nonsense to be honest....Ali is teacher's pet...and things won't get much better in that department when Darcey Bussell takes place in the 'mad house'
She'll probably find kinship with Ali's 'ballet background' and mark her right up there...

It would suit all of them judges to make a clean slate and mark every Q-finalist on their merits on the night not their own incoherent fantasies...

Doubt it will happen though.....I reckon Chris & 'Ola Chops' will have to keep focused, put in two good solid performances and the fanbase will do the rest

Team Cola Watch tonight on ITT

Except she isn't.

Her marks have always been within a reasonable range, even if not everyone agrees with them.

And the judge's comments about her are usually far from what would be said about a "pet".

That's 1 person. How can you assume from one post that all Chris's fans are like that? If I had nothing better to do I would trail through the forum and find you an example of just the opposite but I can't be bothered.
The post didn't say "all".

Nor is it implied. If I say "applies are nice", for example, that doesn't mean all apples are nice.

Actually the post says "nasty lot", implying all Chris & Ola fans are a nasty lot.

That doesn't imply "all" either.

Some people seem to think "all" is implied unless "some" (or similar) is explicitly said.

Either way, it's an unpleasnt and misleading statement which should not be defended

Exactly. Why some people try to defend a statement like that is beyond me.

Oh, I don't think it's so much in defense of the original statement as a thirst for pedantry. I seem to recognise a fellow sufferer .

Would a pedant spell Apples as Applies?
