I had a problem with the back button only working in non-freesat mode.Contacted Humax who told me to try hitting the info button before the back button when in freesat only mode, and it works. Anyone else had this problem?

Hi Aegeandreamer welcome to the forum. The backbutton is a bit of a stange feature it seems to work for some aspects of the box and not others. It appears that the exit button is needed in these instances.

I use the exit button exclusively for 'back/exit' functions as I needed the back button for something else on my Harmony remote.

I never feel I'm missing a function.

Is there anything you can do with the back button that you can't do with 'exit'?

off the top of my head and probably the only 'useful' thing is when you press the ibutton followed by the back button it swaps between the current and previous channel

If you are looking ahead in the EPG then hitting the back button returns you to the present time in the EPG
