In another article I read, Ricky's management said that he was thinking of suing the photographer in question - sorry can't remember where so can't post a link.

Everyone sues everyone else and the only people to make any money out of it are the lawyers. And doubtless true to previous form the photographer in question, having wrung as much publicity out of it as he can, will drop the law suit.

What would he sue him for? Impeding the progress of a car?

Harassment probably.

OP: can you not say RICKY Whittle? It's so derogatory to refer to someone by their surname only. It simply makes the thread look value-laden and spiteful - even if that is not your intention.

It's just "paper talk" nothing will come of it, unless Ricky is charged by the police, but I can't see that happening now.

I disagree, just Whittle is fine. Saves writing out the whole thing. By the way, what the heck is "value-laden" supposed to mean?

I think I have to agree with you about this...the threat to sue seems a very odd one if criminal charges are still considered a possibility.

Didn't someone say the pap already had 'form' for getting publicity from these sort of incidents? If he does, bet he doesn't get any legal eagle to take his case on a no win-no fee basis.
