sorry if this has been highlighted or discussed before......

What id love to see next year is SCD with all the previous SCD winners.

I honestly wouldnt like to guess who would win but it would give the judges a difficult job for once

you know a fun christmas special one off !

(Ive only posted this so the BBC think aaah now theres an idea lol )

Well its not just winners its a mixture but all the previous winners apart from Tom have done it....Colin won one year Jill another and Darren Gough.....cant for the life of me remember who won last year to be frank.

This year its the last 3 from this series with Austin Healey Gethin Jones and Rachel Stevens. Tom would normally have been expected to do it as the champion last year but for some reason he isnt. Its filmed on 21st December and broadcast on Christmas Day.

Was it the case that 8 couples were joint-top (9 and 10 awarded like confetti so all marks were compressed close together)?

After one hour of performing the Headless Chicken the Beeb managers got Len to cast the deciding vote. During this long wait many disgruntled customers got up and went home.

I have a vague memory Rachel was adjudged the winner?

It was Jill Halfpenny who won.

Thanks.......yes it was the great tied scores debacle wasnt it........I just couldnt remember who was finally picked as the winner but seem to remember everyone being drunk after the judges had taken so long to decide.

I'd guess they were all drunk long before that. Lisa & Brendan seemed totally blasted from the outset.

It was Jill first, Kelly second in the end. Alesha, Rachel and those two were all marked 39, then Len broke it down Jill 1st, Alesha 2nd, Rachel 3rd and Kelly 4th. Tom was 5th with a load of gurny ol nonsense and Lisa was 6th because she was slopping around all over the place.

It was fresh after the 3-3-1 farce, so clearly the Beeb had not taken remedial maths lessons.
