DS gave this song 2 *

seriously I really love this song, I mean some hate it.

I really hope this song charts well but cause there's no video and no xfactor performance as rumoured I fear it might not

warner have really screwed with promo for celebration

It doesn't stand a chance by the looks of things. No video and no promotion usually equals no hit. I'll be buying it on vinyl to add to the collection.

Is it the David Guetta remix she's released?

She still could appear on the X Factor final. No one's been confirmed yet.

They'll have to give this away to make it a hit. I like it, but neither party will be rushing to promote it imo. Can't see that Madge really gives two hoots now she's free of Warners.

She could be on the x factor final as she would be a great scoop for the producers, but I doubt it. With no promotion and/or a crappy music video, I can see this song barely scraping the top 40 to be honest. A bit like "Miles Away" last year. I loved the song at first but now, I've gotten a little bored of it.

I love it, have done since September, but it's gonna flop hard.

I think it's only being released on 1 CD format too which won't help sale. Fingers crossed for a picture disc though

Whats the point of releasing it if they can't be bother to promo it or make a video.

tbh i hope she dont do xfactor now id rather her do it next year, as revolvers gonna flop sadly anyway theres too much coming out, and next year is suppose to be the release of her new album isnt it? so mit might be better to use xfactor next year for as whole new album and era.

Revolver is not a great song it just sounds like a poor Britney song It's So Cool should of been the second new song on the album, Revolver will flop i wouldn't be surprised if it missed the top 40

Madonna needs to take a break and come back in a few years setting trends not following them

I hope there is a 12" picture disc they are always nice to get

Too song to release

It will bomb

Shame. It's the best song I have liked from her since Hung up.

I"m a huge Madonna fan, but I have to say Revolver is one of my least favourite songsl that's she's done.
So I"m not too bothered if it's not promoted or isn't a hit.
Miles Away was a flop, but I thought that was a really good song.
Revolver is sort of catchy but it has no personality and nothing that makes it a Madonna song. It could be sung by anyone.
I'm surprised so many people like it.

I love Madonna, but that song is too Britneyish. Am I the only one hearing this?

Its got no video so how is it expected to chart?

I hope LiveNation handle her better when the new album comes. I want to see her go back to the Ray Of Light stuff but apparently she has asked GaGa to work with her!

She is so poorly managed its untrue. Both Miles Away and Revelover have had no promotion at all and people don't even know she has a record out. I love Madonna but if she thinks her name alone is enough to secure her hits then she's sorely mistaken

It looks like it's Warner's decision to release this to squeeze the final drop out of her. I don't think she gives two hoots. If she really cared she is powerful enough to demand a video be made and do promotion. She's not stupid, she knows what to do in order to get a hit record. Every major show in the world would gladly have her on.

I can't wait for the next album (hopefully next year). Her first on her new contract so hopefully it'll be something special.

I think the last singles Madonna seemed to have any interest in were Hung Up and Sorry.

Despite the decent video for 4 Minutes she didn't seem to bothered about Hard Candy what so ever aside from the tour. Did she even do a proper interview for the entire HC era??

Yeah her last decent promo was For confessions album, maybe cause the album before that got panned by critics.

I hope her new album is like confessions please give up the RnB Madonna your too cool for that

I've been checking HMV and What Records and there is no sign of any CD or 12"

Does anyone know if Revolver is only a download release?

Will you?
Sory, but Madonna is SOOOOOOOOOlast year. There are a lot of younger kids on the block and although she has her hardcore followers (like Cliff!!!!) I think her chart domination days are over.

I do think that Madonna still has significant chart potential. "Celebration" got to #2 in the singles chart and the album got to #1. But not with songs like "Revolver". Confessions is still my favorite Madonna album.
