Cola - with a huge defensive phone vote for both Chris and Ola they should score 4 there. If their judges ranking is 1 or 2 they will have an aggregate of 5 or 6. If 5 then Cola will be in the dance-off and in danger, going into it with bottom judges marks.
Laila - with known poor voter appeal she is likely to score 1 there. Unlikely to beat both Ali and Ricky on judges, so her judges+vote aggregate would be 2+1 or 3+1 if not 1+1. With votes counting in the aggregate more than judges marks when both level, Laila looks a certainty for the dance-off. Ricky - He came through even in weeks with injury and arrest putting him out of action last Friday. Tomorrow despite man flu, with foxtrot and cha cha (once again praised to the sky by Natalie on ITT) on judges he is likely to outscore... Ali -- with tango (not enough staccato verve) and samba (not enough mardi gras). However Ali will almost certainly outvote Ricky on audience appeal. Assuming voting rank 4 is already taken by Cola and 1 is already taken by Laila, then iff Ricky scores judges+votes : 4+2 = 6 and Ali 3+3 = 6 then Ali edges it on the phone vote weighting. Cola is then likely to waltz in the dance-off against Laila's AS. In the final moment of truth which way will the judges jump? Who is better box office? Who is a bigger draw on the Tour? Considering Laila has already received one favour on Frozen Peas Boot Saturday, and then she thanked her rescuers by flying off to Morocco, I guess the judges will evict Laila before Chris after nailbiting tension for viewers. If in the dance-off Laila faces Ricky, then the outcome would be simpler. Laila will go in an unanimous verdict, including from Ricky's fan Darcey who now joins the bench. |

As mentioned on ITT,nerves could play a big part this week with having to wait to dance in the second show especially if the first dance has not gone well. Are they doing Latin or Ballroom first?

Certainly Laila does not get the lowest amount of the votes in the public poll

The tradition is to do Ballroom first.
Apparantly the Salsa training was from earlier on in the week according to the BBC Boards but I don't remember seeing that outfit before.. Idk. |

But as TT says, I think it's customary for Ballroom to be performed first. |

I would LOVE for Laila & Anton to impress with their salsa, because I for one do not want them to go
And as for the order of calling whos safe being relevent to the actual order IMO is nonsense, there has been times where Chris & Ola have been called around second to last, so it just happens, fingers crossed for L&A anyhow! |

True but all of the factors are suspect. Laila had more votes than Ricky last week and we don't know what Ali's vote looked like. The ITT spin early in the week was that Laila was doing well - though tonight Craig seemed ambivalent whether Chris or she were worst. Neither Ricky or Ali has had a perfect dance shown in training and they could end in any order partly depending how the Samba is marked for being difficult. If Laila is not worse than Chris there's the possibility of anyone going on the luck of what order the vote is in or what dances they got this week.
I used to have a lot of respect for Craig as a Judge and indeed even when he was harsh, he was fair. He seems to have changed lately - who knows, perhaps he has read all the threads on here praising him and it's gone to his head but to me he is now just as likely to have a 'pet' as the rest of them and the one he has said he could watch all night is Ali - even tonight he sprang to her defence against John Barrowman. I'm very much against any of the Saturday night Judges getting previews of the couples whether it's Friday night or mid-week - they should be seeing the dances for the first time on the live show. |

Agreed Bonnie. I don't think Ali has quite got the Tango poise and she isn't in her knees enough but she'll still get 10's across the board.
