Samsung LED Series 7 motion plus judder flicker

Hi all, wonder if you can help me.

I've just bought a Samsung UE40B7000 and 100hz motion plus looks terrible when switched on. I've tried "normal" "smooth" and "custom" settings but most Sky HD channels suffer judder and ghosting around a fast moving image. BBCHD is very bad. The picture actually looks better with the 100hz off. is this a fault with my screen? should i take it back?

Ps - i'm not that technical btw

You may need to upgrade the firmware from Samsung download site as I hear the motion plus has been improved.
Other than that, if you think it looks better with it off then turn it off.
