You need something like this

http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/alpin...ne-p-9642.html

I had the same issue with my Nano 4th gen something to do with different power requirements between the newer models and the older ones.

Anything before the Nano 3rd gen will charge fine on my CDE-9882Ri anything after that model and it doesn't charge.

The reason for this is that the older generation iPods used to charge over the Firewire pins, and now they charge soley through USB. So the pins that usually charge the 'Pod will be trying to charge but can't due to the change of charging pins.

Thats a tad bit on the pricey side though.

The Scosche Passport does exactly the same thing, and is £20 from Apple :

Are you talking about the Apple iPod Touch, or the Pasen iTouch? Just to be clear?

A company called Pasen do indeed make a media player called the iTouch, which is why its more important to name your device correctly now when asking for advice

He may have meant this though, dunno.

There maybe is another product called an itouch but its very unlikely he has that one, interesting if he as..... but.....

Its always nice to see the Ipod Touch naming police ( Itouch ) are out there still. Always just hiding out of sight to catch those unsuspecting people who happen to call the Ipod Touch an iTouch and scold them for doing so.

Get a life..........
