How are they live? Ive booked tickets to go see them in february (plus Anton & Erin in january..).

Havent been to Anton's and Erin's before but I think they will be good, but dont have any idea about Brian & Kristina apart from what I saw on tv.. (plus you get to meet them and have pics taken with them too)

So any experiences will be welcome..

Kristina's lessons would be a treat. Anybody been? If I get a chance for private lessons I would talk to her mainly about music.

I've seen them live and they are amazing! You'll love it!

We saw their Mambo, Cha Cha Cha, Rumba (to Beyonce) and American Smooth. All fantastic!

I saw them and I found it a little disappointing, their mambo and hustle were quite similar, and the styles were all very, very American.

Probably because I've been used to seeing the likes of the Cutlers and I&C in demos who stick to the international styles rather than the American versions.

Still good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to see them again

Thats the big difference. If you want to see the same five dances you can see at any comp. Then go to a comp. If you want to see a show that brings something different, then go see Brian & Kristina.

By the way, their Mambo and Hustle couldn't be more different.

Actually, I go to both demos and comps and like the differences they both offer. The couples I mentioned MAY do the same dances as in a comp but with different twists so I like the contrasts. The Cutlers tend to be more traditional whereas I&C are a bit more theatrical, so in that case, I've seen shows that have brought out something different within the spheres of ballroom and latin.

Also, I did mean their cha and hustle were quite similar, I had trouble remembering which dances B&K did because of the different ones they offer in comparison to the other pros, the names of them completely esaped me.

Perhaps if I saw them when Strictly wasn't on, I'd be more impressed as both of them seemed quite tired which is totally understandable. Their mambo was by far their best dance and one that got the audience going, a given considering it's their speciality.
