I don't believe that Kat Slater is being killed off, Alfie and Kat are the most popular couple and one of few likable characters in EE at the moment. If you noticed at Xmas they were on the cover of every magazine, theres no way Jessie Wallace is being let go, especially as Lynne might be killed off aswell.

I dont know what to think...........
Kat ie Jessie has been a little naughty lately as for killing her off I think if she does then he will as I dont think the viewers can cope with anymore sorrow on ee...
Another car accident seems a poor plot after Jamie and tiff..

EE needs alfie, one of few convincing characters left.andy's revenge on alf and kat may be worth watching(we'll see).

I heard that the actress didnt get her contract redone because of a behind the scenes 'drama' going on. Know anything about that Petermy?

Well to be honest I heard they were 'thinking' about it and that she had 12 months left before anything happened. I didnt know it had actually taken place.

But last I heard even Alfie wasn't safe.

Petemy as you seem to be in the know have you heard anything about the Carol Jackson stuff?

My source at BBC tells me that kat will die for sure in a auto accident as Jessie wallace has been really bad on set with her behaviour, drunk etc.A lot of arguments with other members of the cast including wendy richard. she also has asked for double the money that shane ritchie and leslie grantham is getting. spencer has something to do with her accident.Carol jackson will not be back.
however patsy palmer bianca has signed new two year contract and will begin affair with Andy. ian will marry kate only to have problems with phil when he returns next year.the vic will be taken over by the watts again.zoe will become pregnat with Dens child.Dirty Den strikes again.

STOP PRESS STOP PRESS

If everybody remembers Louise Berridge sometime ago stated that an international star would join EE, my source at BBC tells me that Michael Caine has signed to join in autumm for 6 months as big WEst End Gangster who decides to take over operations on East End.
Big scenes with Andy and Den. Romance with Sam Mitchell who betrays Andy. Caines character has also been hiding Phil in Spain in a safe house.Big surprise also he turns out to be father of major character in EE.

Oh God no. How boring, boring, boring. Wasn't it bad enough having Hywel Bennett as a ganster? I hate all these gangster stories. Why the hell don't they learn from Coronation Street and have more interaction between characters instead of trying to do this cops and robbers stuff.

I only watch EE now if there's nothing else on. If this story happens I'll switch off for ever.

Boring boring boring - ANOTHER love child. MORE clashes between Ian and Phil. And is Andy the only man available for people to sleep with?

My predictions came true, so Im just showing off lol

But seriously if people dont like the idea of Michelle Fowler being replaced and the gradual decline of EE's let it be known and maybe something can be done. They are about to ruin it

Does anyone know if there is any truth in the Michael Caine story line? Also does anyone know when EE is likely to look better? All this stuff is too dramatic, they are taking things way overboard now turning it into a sunset beach style drama!!! Totally unbelievable!

They said on the radio this morning that Jessie Wallace is pregnant. Nobody knows whether she'll be leaving, or whether they'll write it into the story.

I could do without the Michael Caine storyline myself.

I think Alfie has lost his mojo to be honest! When he first came into EE he was undoubtedly brilliant, but now, he does nothin for me at all. And to be honest, i wouldnt care if he did get the boot now. Like someone said b4, theres not much for him to do now... although Jessie Wallace now being pregnant could be interesting... But i think the whole 'whos the baby's dad' has been done too many times before. Another dreary EE storyline?

Can't say much tho, i still watch it!

I seriously doubt that Michael Caine, whose career has had a second wind in recent years with Oscar wins and nominations, is likely to join EE. In all fairness. Now he may make a cameo as Laurence Olivier and Dustin Hoffman did in Corrie. But the chances of him being a regular are as likely as Fred Elliot and Vera Duckworth moving into the Ferreira house...

No, nor me. He used to be a bit of a Jack the lad - now he's just pathetic, creeping like a whipped dog.

Is there an echo in here?

How many EE characters have been hit by cars? OK, i can only think of Jamie and Tiffany, but i'm sure there are others.

i hope Patsy is coming back, it's a shame Rickay and Nat aren't still around though!

If Jessie is preggers, they'll have to write that into the storyline, but if Kat sleeps with Andy, i don't see the marriage lasting. Unless they make it Andy's kid of course... but i don't think i could bear another 'parental mix up' story and they can't have 3 slater girls up the duff at the sametime!

... Maybe if they turned the characters of Alfie and Kat into the (only) 'happy couple', then it would work. I'd like to see more comedy in EE, its all too depressing! I think EE bosses could do this again with Alfie and Kat... they could become the Jack n Vera of Walford. Maybe EE should take a leaf out of Corries book!

Yes this could be EEs chance to redeem themselves with their viewers, let Kat have a straightforward normal pregnancy with no doubt as to the childs parentage. But will they, will they hell. They will come up with some far fetched storyline that has been done (a lot better) elsewhere

i agree, but the writers have already said they don't want the couple becoming 'boring'. What they don't seem to realize is that the string of attempts at sensational storylines which never allow happiness for anyone are becoming tedious beyong belief.

i don't think Kat and Alfie were ever suited to be honest, they never tell each other the truth, are always hiding something from each other that would all have been sorted out straight away if they just told each other in the first place. Just look at Alfie going to pay the money back just after Kat has slept with Andy, i mean, do they not TALK to each other ever?

No-one's ever happy in that pub.. wait a minute... no-one's ever happy in Walford!

Yes the Queen Vic is cursed don't ye know. In saying that the whole of Walford live under a cloud lol I still watch it in the hope it will revive itself and come up with some good storylines. I agree EastEnders have gone way too sensational lately and have somewhat lost touch with reality. I mean would Alfie in real life really ask Andy the man who's wedding he wrecked, the local gangster for a loan of a few thousand and then expect him to be sympathetic when he can't pay up? In reality would the Queen Vic pub really be managed by Spencer, a teenager who had no bar experience prior to Walford whilst all the other staff are out?

Please god don't let Kat Slater be preggers and not know whether it's Andy or Alfie's. Three Slater girls all up the duff, one is leaving, the other got pregnant after a rape and another is pregnant but doesn't know whether its her husbands or her ex fiancee's, whom she slept to pay off a loan? Oh please.

And whats up with Minty these days? A year ago he was this hard man, the other night I saw him say sorry to Dennis, a man responsible for stitching his best mate Phil up, after he nearly bumped into him in the street? Definitely something a miss there

Made me laugh last night with Minty - Sam needs a mechanic and guess who just happens to know something about cars? If she had needed a ballerina, I bet Minty would have been an ex-ballerina (yes I know it's far-fetched with his figure but this IS EastEnders!!)

Really? offscreen presumably because she'll be on maternity leave.

I heard that a few months back, one of the tabloids reported Pat had been axed from EE. Cue predictable outrage. But it was completely untrue. Of course they make up exciting/scurrilous headlines to sell papers, surely no one is surprised about that. Tiny possibility that Eastenders press office just might contribute to these 'stories' too -- all publicity is good publicity (so they think).
