There are 90 minutes in between the main show and the results show - that should give them enough time to think up a suitable reason......................mind you, they've had 2 weeks since Jade left, and haven't come up with anything yet, so I'm not going to be holding my breath

I believe she and Ian are dancing the much anticipated tango in the Christmas special - my phone bill that night will hit the roof!

I'd have loved to see their AT and their AS - I reckon they'd have wiped the floor with the opposition.

Not to mention a mean old paso. The bull and the matador - describes their relationship perfectly!

It was the paso I was really, really looking forward to. All that explosive power being tamed. Ooh - the dramatic possibilities.

Mind you, it might have been a paso with a twist - I wouldn't put it past the bull to have beaten the matador on this particular occasion.

Jade was one of my 3 favourites from the start.

Can't help but think what might have been if she hadn't been forced to drop out.

No, we could say that the rule would only apply to the professional dancers. Otherwise Quentin Wilson would have won the 2004 series and every subsequent Xmas special.

Seems fair enough. Laila hasn't used her injury bye as yet, and I'm sure a doctor would confirm that having an Anton in salsa week could be very dangerous, and will only cause more pain and damage the more she tries to dance with it. It could also dangerously increase the severity of her ihatefastlatinitus, which could cause her ongoing suffering in the future. A week's grace could let her recover enough to resume training on Monday.

And can we not just keep bringing Jade back to complete her dances? Final: tango. Christmas special: Paso. Week 1 of next year: American smooth. Instead of a "nobody wants to go home segment": Argentine tango. Instead of an "Ask Len" segment: Rumba. Instead of a "My brother/ sister/ wife/ husband/ daughter/ son best friend is amazing and doesn't want to leave" segment: Show dance. Have I missed any out? She can miss out the rumba if necessary- I'm not sure she'd like that very much anyway.

Sadly the two shows format kills that idea. Here we are for the results show.........30 minutes later .........and the result is, there is no result

They can't do it next week either with 2 shows. Better this week as they wouldn't have to give the game away who had the votes in the SF then.........

They seem to be lurching to a two person final with either a fixed outcome that reverses the onesided dancing result or a real competition between two dancers who most people won't have voted for yet.
