As much as I love Strictly, I never vote to save a couple until perhaps the semi final and the final. My Grandma and I love the show and she really enjoys watching Chris each week (and voting for him) - think she has a crush on him.

Nearly 48 hours ago, My Grandma had a stroke in her house where she lives alone. She was found the next morning on her bedroom floor by her carer. I have driven back today to be with family and have seen my Grandma this evening who has obviously suffered severely from the stroke.

Due to her now being unable to enjoy watching SCD and championing her favourite, I will be voting a number of times tomorrow for Chris in the hope that he will continue on in the show. I feel like I'm doing it for my Grandma who would have loved to have seen him win it.

Obviously my relationship with my Grandma goes a lot deeper than SCD. Not being able to talk to her about the show each week is already saddening me since we both have a great interest in dance. I haven't set this thread up as a 'pro Chris' thread but more for myself I guess.

Nothing wrong with expressing your feelings on here and I wish you and your Grandma well.

I am so sorry to hear about your Grandma and I hope she makes she makes a good recovery. It must be a very hard time for you. I will vote for Chris on Saturday, in fact I will vote for him twice. One vote for you and one vote for your Grandma. xx
