oh i have so many,the rippingtons,peter white,kenny g,urban jazz coalition,kloud 9,to name a few.

Kenny G, he da man!

Not so much jazz funk as funk but been listening to some Second Image lately, this group achieved nothing really, but they produced sublime commerical soul funk that was criminally ignored by the masses.

quite liked level 42 in their day,but aja by steely dan is the best jazz-funk album i have heard.

Very good choice Mind you, one of their recent albums 'Two Against Nature' comes close. Awesome.

Quite and if I remember correctly, Mike Lindup was quite a decent keyboard player.
