I had to ring back several times as Anton's line was engages - I hope it was becasue of lots of votes and not a mess up with the phone lines.

Doesn't matter. If your call for Anton is engaged then it would be engaged for all the other dancers as well.

The calls get put through to a "platform" number which then connects to the couple you have voted for.

Do we have to keep explaining how these lines work every week? It's not a set number of lines for each contestant but a total number of lines activated by the shared part of the number i.e. the Laila line may be engaged when dialled but ever that doesn't mean the votes are for that line - every single vote could be going elsewhere.

Why are you blaming Anton? Im not his biggest fan. But it was Laila who screwed that up, not him.

I love Laila I do, I'd marry her tomorrow if I could but with the best will in the world how was it Anton's fault. I seem to recall her going wrong on her own right at the beginning when she slipped.

I blame him because he isn't capable of teaching most of the latin dances and he should have got in help. I expected it to be bad but it exceeded expectations.

She slipped! Clearly lost her concentration totally and from then on it was game over. Unless he'd been greasing the dancefloor prior to them coming on I don't think this one lies on Anton's shoulders.

His latin is not up to much. But Laila is just totally bone idle. She doesnt try half the time. She's decided she doesnt like the latin and doesnt put the effort in. Give Anton a break.

You might not believe it but that's the way it works...if there are 100 lines and all have calls the 90 could be being cast for A, 7 for B and 3 for C or whatever. If you think logically then if the all have the same number of lines which are open for the same length of time and each call takes the same time to register the vote then they'd all get the same number of votes.

I thought that he was very professional tonigh at least he tried to keep her going and get back on track. It is not his fault if she forgets the steps.

Personally I think Anton is more than capable of both dancing and teaching latin. However, he doesn't look like a latin dancer, and probably never will, so he hasn't developed it to the level that other professionals have. Laila slipped, forgot the steps etc etc. Anton had to wait so they could both get back into the dance.

That's very harsh! Why is it Anton's fault that Laila cannot cope with dancing live in the studio ?
I thought Anton did well to keep it as together in the salsa as he did ,she obviously came down the steps and the whole routine went out of her head .

Laila should not even be in tonight's show. She seems a lovely girl, but her dancing is poor and Anton's mugging every week drives me mad. Go now please.
