What a flop.

I thought that Darcy would bring technical comments and common sense to the show.

Instead, we have a well spoken Alesha.

What a disappointment.

I really don't like her. Is HATE too strong a word?

She wasn't that good.

She was :yawn: a bit boring ..

Have to agree. Added nothing to the judging panel.

She was cold, unoriginal, a spare part really.

That's the word I was looking for.....................BORING.

I never thought that. I've been saying for weeks that I thought she would be a big fat "meh". Not awful, but not great either.

And I was right.

Iv'e been saying "Wet fish" and I think I was right too!

She was a bitter disappointment for me.

I have to admit I was expecting more.

She added nothing to the panel. What was the point?!

In my opinion Darcey's comments were better than Alesha's in her first week as a judge, but she was not animated enough. Rather dull.

I also was quite disappointed...she doesn't add much to the panel at all.

I thought it was pointless having her.

She added nothing, but took away precious time to make comments.

We didn't get to hear from the other judges at times.

Her contributions were wishy washy and her scores predictable.

Wow, I thought I would be the only one who thought she was a waste of a good chair.

Seems to be a common feeling.

What did anyone expect?

The BBC knew at the outset that they had a weak line-up of celebrities and the ratings would suffer accordingly.
So early on they decided they needed a "name" to introduce near the end of the series, to hopefully boost the ratings.

So some "suit" came up with Darcey Bussell; "A big name in dance isn't she?" who; "had nothing to do on a Saturday night" in the few weeks before Christmas.
No panto rehearsals for her, were there?

She added nothing to the night and might as well not have been there.
But she suited the BBC's priorities.

why do the bbc keep wanting to change the format of this show, it was fine but they keep throwing stuff at it, Darcey was totally pointless

I'm really enjoying the threads tonight, the wit is positively scintillating I say scintillating!!

I think the chair would have has something more productive to say to be fair!

I was so disappointed in Darcey, she brought nothing to the show tonight.

Agreed with pretty much all of these comments, she added nothing. In fact I only liked Len tonight on the panel. Alesha got on my wick, Craig was Craig and Bruno gave Chris a 7

Meh. I quite enjoyed her. It was nice having another judge who knows something about dance.

I think she tried to remain too neutral - but if she'd said what she really wanted to say, half the fans would have slaughtered her for being too harsh!
