I doubt it after tonights performance. I thought their AS was excellent and the judges were unfairly harsh, the salsa was a mess.
Will Ricky end up in the DO again with Laila ?

well I have started voting like mad for Laila now - I am sick of Ali being overmarked (again)

The judges were very harsh about her AS. But her Salsa was bloody dreadful. To be honest she probably deserves to go after that, she didnt even try! She gets on my nerves a bit. I feel kind of sorry for Anton because I think she's bone idle.

The AS was lovely! OK, not technically perfect but better than the judges' commnents suggested, surely? I loved the music, the mood of it and the performance. But the next dance - oh dear - - not good!

Laila's American smooth was stiff and off balance - even I noticed that. And her salsa was dreadful. No excuse at this stage imho for such dreadful dancing - its like she doesn't give a toss one way or the other.

Mathematically she can be saved.

The American Smooth was not worth 2/3 points less than the other Ballroom dances we saw (which all had flaws too).

Laila looked totally deflated after the comments and scores. I'm not surprised she couldn't get into the Salsa afterwards.

She can't avoid the dance-off now unless she gets more votes than Chris which is impossible! And I don't know if I'd want to sacrifice him either because he stands a good chance of winning the whole thing. And I'd be happy with that

Gutted for Laila though. I thought the judges really went for her tonight.

I think it'll be Chris 4, Laila 3, Ricky 2, Ali 1...

To give Chris 6, Ricky 6, Laila 4, Ali 4. Enough to save her under the old system but not enough tonight.

If she has more fans than Chris she'll be saved. I think he has 99% of the public vote so probs not

I didn't think she tried with the Salsa any how so meh.... if she's not bothered neither am I.

So was Ali's Tango.

Why was she getting 9's?

Its not relevant how much lower her scores were - its the placing at the end that is important. She was the worst overall dancer of the evening imho and therefore deserved to be last on the leaderboard.

why would they want to - she should have gone weeks ago

I just don't understand how nasty some people are on this forum. Did you not hear her say she made a mistake and could not get back on track, which has happened to many previous celebs. None of us non participants, can understand the pressure they are under each Sat.

Laila's salsa was way below the standard for a quarter final. If it's a Ricky v Ali dance off the show is dead as far as I'm concerned.

Of course it's relevant.

Another week and the scores might be tighter and any over-marking would affect the overall positions on the table.

It's the principal.

I dont think there is anything nasty about Cornchips post. Ive read far worse on here. Laila IMO is a lazy spoiled princess who doesnt even try. I think Anton must be a saint to put up with her.

She was off balance Iagree - but she wasn't stiff and she was better than Laila. Imho Ali and Chris were on a level tonight - but Ali was technically slightly better than Chris. Ricky - although I won't disagree did the best - bored me rigid but then he always does.

The final placings on the leaderboard imho were about right. Laila was the worst dancer of the evening. the only two that were interchangeable were Ali and Chirs - Ali was better technically, but Chris was more entertianing. Laila was neither.

FOR THE LAST TIME.

Laila was brought up in a POOR AREA OF LONDON.

WHAT IS IT WITH THIS WHOLE 'PRINCESS' RUBBISH.

*NERVOUS BREAKDOWN*

I wasn't being nasty. She is capable of so much more - she never delivers. Imho (which I am entitled to) she doesn't care enough to fight for her place. This is the semi final and if you cannot stand the heat then you deserve to go home. She was under the same pressure as everyone else and they coped fine with it. She did not. She didn't sound or look sorry. In fact for a few weeks now I have had the impression that she is ready for it all to end.

It wasn't relevant tonight. The AS was the worst of the four ballrooms and her salsa was the worst of the our latin dances.
