Did the Judges fix it?

So that Laila and Anton where in the Dance-off regardless of who voted for them they would not got out of that position

And who ever they faced in that dance-off they would not had won it who ever they where against

Yes.

It's A Conspiracy.

Obviously.

The issue is not whether there is judges collusion - I don't believe that either. Next week is where there are scope for real problems as the person topping the public vote (most likely Chris) could easily go out which is almost impossible at any other stage of the contest.

The point is we are at the semi final stage - and after 12 weeks we should let the public decide as they do on X factor after we reach the final 5.

How can it be right to have a judges vote, then a public vote followed by a judges vote which overtturns the public vote (meaning the public who voted wasted their money!).

Maybe if the Beeb trusted the viewers more they might match X factors ratings!

No they didn't. Laila and Anton were by far the worst this evening so the judges had no choice but to place them last.

Secondly, Laila and Anton could have been saved from the dance off if they had topped the public vote. They didn't.

Chris and Ola have that locked up - Laila stood no chance as a result!

I agree, athough I think realistically Laila and Anton could not have been saved from the dance off. As Martym8 says, the top spot was for Chris and Ola anyway.

Then the public have spoken haven't they - they didn't want to save her. The judges can hardly overlook her abysmal performance simply because Cola are more popular.

Mmm - but I am complaining more about the potential scenario next week where the person topping the public vote are likely to go home.

If Laila had topped the vote tonight she would have stayed - however that won't apply next week for Chris.

Don't think anyone could objectively claim any fixing came in tonight. None was needed. Unfortunately for Laila - and I quite liked her mercurial ways - she made way too many errors tonight to deserve to be anything but bottom of the judges' board. She was always gonna be doomed if she didn't beat Chris on the judges board, and tonight she didn't give an even arguable reason to do so, sadly.
