Perhaps it's how she wants to be. The school we go to is the choice of our parents it doesn't mean we will fit in or come out the other side a clone of that making - although most do. Some people, probably not many, are deeply distressed by a privileged upbringing especially public schooling.

Fact is, she has got where she is through work of her own. She may be a pleb, as is AW but they do have a talent and are original.

Yes I was surprised LA will be on next week, I suppose she will sing, sorry talk, in her usual way about blow-jobs or something; that will go down well with Darcy Bussell.

It's amazing how someone, with a mother who's a film producer and a father who's in TV and with all their combined connections, manage to do it "on their own."

Her accent is "affected."

But I don't really care if others think she's wonderful. Doesn't bother me. But maybe a few shouldn't get taken in by the "hype."

Maybe they've booked her as Alesha's interpreter?

Or is Alesha her interpreter?

Either way it'll all just confuse poor old Darcey and she'll put her nose further into the air as she smells another common person close by.

"So perhaps you can explain her attraction to some, for the benefit of the man on the Clapham omnibus?"

Sure, in my day, we had Ian Dury.
Noone will ever come close to him in my opinion, but Lily's from the same root stock.

She's singing a clean version of Not Fair according to the Sun.

Well, as long as she does not sing "Hit me with your rhythm stick" or "Reasons to be cheerful", I don't care as I have never heard of her.
