Will they each be doing 5 dances ?

I'm just using Series 5 as an example..

Judges Choice (Scored)
Group Viennese Waltz

In case anybody was wondering Judges Choice is where they give a piece of music and you have to interpret it. For eg it was "We like to boogie" Alesha did a Jive Matt did a Quickstep.

I couldn't really imagine these semi finalists producing 5 top notch dances O_O..

No, they didn't last year. That was cause there were 3 couples though :P

I can't see them doing a Group Viennese Waltz this year - they've done that already. Maybe a group Foxtrot instead?

I liked an idea they used in Dancing with the Stars which was a 'Megamix' - three dances (Viennese Waltz, Samba and Jive in that case) danced one after the other. Maybe that could be imported?

I think I'd rather just see ballroom, latin and a showdance, but this is probably because I'm a series two fuddyduddy.

The S5 judges' choice didn't really work out and it was patently obvious last year how the VW round would go.

I suppose a 30 min final wouldn't be that interesting and might be why I am not a programmes director at the BBC.

Of course a conspiracy theorist would suggest that they won't do a group VW because that would deprive Ali of her highest scoring ballroom. Indeed, a conspiracy theorist would suggest that's very possibly why they had a group VW earlier in the series. That's what a conspiracy theorist would do.
