I have been told by a very good source what the voting differentials are (Think the last 2 weeks Chis has polled more votes than the rest of the dancers put together) and I predict that on Saturday it will be about

Chris 65%
Ali 25%
Ricky 10%

I'm sure that this is down to more than Chris's fans voting more times than the other 2”

if these are true figures then the other contestants might as wll give up now and stay at home on Saturday

If she's been acting that long, one would have thought she would be able to manage 'smouldering latin' by now. Wonder why she can't?

That's what surprises me I do find her dancing technically good but a bit dull

Ricky is an actor by profession, why try to deny it?

I am not having a go at him, I am having a go at OPs who expect Chris to be able to act out parts as well as other celebs who do it for a living.

I'm not trying to deny it I just pointed out there's acting and then there's "acting" if you get my drift and as I said after 12 weeks I'm sure if Ricky can get his natural occurring pigeon toes to point out Chris could learn to do more than one expression

However multiple voting may have made a difference earlier in this series, or in previous series when it comes to dance off places, especially when it seems there is one couple dominating the voting and so the differences between the others get smaller, and it may do so in future. It may even have made the difference if there have been any close finals. On the other hand it may not have made any difference ever. The potential remains, however, and it still seems desirable to restrict it if practicable.”

Which is, indeed, the point I was trying to make.

I wasn't remotely suggesting that my figures were accurate - merely providing an example.

But Ricky has not got his pigeon toes pointing out and his bandy legs make him look odd, but I would not take this into account as you do with Chris's faces when he is doing his best to act the part.

I judge on the effort and dedication the celebs put into it as well as whether they have improved or not.

Sorry, no offence, but I am very doubtful about your information..however reliable your "source". I don't believe Chris polled more than Ali, Ricky and Laila combined, and I certainly don't think your predicted figures for this Saturday will prove accurate.
Of course, we have no way of knowing. However, if you take previous X-Factor voting as a guide, nobody had that sort of lead with 2/3 opponents left in the competition.
The massively popular Susan Boyle didn't manage anything like that kind of support in BGT..in fact she went on to lose of course.

I thought Steve Brookstein did - although I don't want Chris to have that sort of lead

Possibly..I couldn't find the voting figures that far back.
He did apparently poll 6 million votes in the final..still a record.
He certainly disappeared fairly quickly. He was doing cruise ships by 2007, and this year he was said to be working on producing his wife Eileen Hunter's jazz album and performing at smaller venues such as Pizza Express in Maidstone. The fickle finger of fame (or fate).
