I didn't like the one she did with ricky but as ballroom is her forte,I'm sure she could produce a stunning Tango.

I dont "not like her" per se.. Its just her very competitive attitude. I think her ballroom is great (and the show needs more ballroom specialists) but her Latin is not as good as I thought it might be from her "VTs".

I also didnt think it was fair for a new pro to come in and go immediately to the winner's podium. I think all new pros should work their "apprenticeship" as it were... I didnt particularly take to Flavia or Ola their first year but both grew on me (and now Flav is my Nr 1 pro).

Personally I would like to see Natalie back and given a celeb with a middling level of natural talent so she really has to work at routines to suit the celeb rather than that give her an opportunity to showcase herself. I think it was pro QS she choreographed all round herself (in pale pink - while the other ladies were in black) that really annoyed me and she has not won me back since.

At the start of the series I thought that Aliona for me would be the least annoying but actually I now think differently. I think Katya and Natalie should return (although I do think that Katya's skills might be found lacking in a naturally talented celeb coz a lot of her choreography was very samey... (but that might have been coz of Phil's lack of memory skills). Aliona's choreography skills were slighty tooo wacky - and anyone with a pinch of sense would have worked out the no lifts rule...

Anyway - that's my opinion of the day off my chest.... Now I feel better.

Which pro doesn't have a competitive attitude? What's the point of being in the competition if you're not competitive? Even if you know you can't win, you still have to act like you want to. And they all do.

I love all the professionals on strictly but I can't seem to warm to Natalie I wouldn't mind if she didn't return next year but that's only my decision

For me she's welcome to come back provided she finds a sense of humour and can talk about something else in interviews other than how much training she and her partner is doing.

I do not see any reason why she shouldnt be invited back, she's been the most successful out of the newbie girls this year and has produced some great dances (the QS, the AS, the Tango and the FT and the professional QS). Though, I wouldnt blame her if she hopped on the plane back to escape the horrible comments she gets by people who have never met her in real life and base their judgements on minimal VTs. She's the least exposed Pro with the most-judged personality. I feel for her.

I understand your point and kinda of agree, personally I thought that Ricky should have been with one of the existing pro but the only pro that would be tall enough would have been Erin and people would have said that wasn't fair either as she had Austin last year. Defintely agree about Flavia and Ola (can I add Matt, Vincent and Camilla to that list) but if you look at Lilia and Darren they were an instant hit (and haven't got good partner the last two series at least and in Lilia's case never got a natural dancer from the start anyway back to the topic...) Darren,for example, got Jill his first series (and he is one of my favs) so I think it depends on the partnership. Wonder how Ricky would have done with Katya!!

I think Ricky's work schedule has been their biggest problem this series they can't go on ITT during the week and when they are training they have to train they don't have time to muck around if they are going to learn the dances. Yes Natalie is competitive but which pro isn't (just look at the dance mat game ) she comes across as a perfectionist so what. She and Ricky has produced some of the best dances this series. The only thing I don't like about Natalie is when she speaks over Ricky I find that really annoying.

I have liked all the new pros this year except for Aliona's choreography for Rav's dances but she is great dancing with Matt if she comes back next year she needs to work on her teaching ability and her choreography. Though more importantly Anton (if he is back next year) needs to work on his Latin dances !! but that goes without saying

Personally I'm not too keen on her because I don't really think she's brought out the best in Ricky. She's lucky that his natural talent has gotten them this far in my opinion. I think that she overcomplicated some of the routines and because they were a bit too hard for Ricky, he made mistakes. Having said that obviously Ricky has had a tough work schedule to fit around training, so I'm not necessarily blaming Natalie for that. And I have to give her credit for her choreography this week in the Cha Cha Cha and Foxtrot, they were both great!
Overall I'd say that she would benefit from making her routines a bit simpler, so that she could give her celeb a chance to really sell the dance and not worry over the steps, but I think she's done well enough to come back next year- they're all competitive really, some of them hide it better than others though!

I would like to see her come back and how she would do with a no hoper maybe she would be less intense.

One minute and I feel for her because I think she's being edited to be like the ice maiden of the pro's. But then she goes and says stuff like "no I did not expect to be in the danceoff" and "they have to come up to my level". Yes she's being honest but that's not the way to get the public to warm to you. I'm not sure if it's down to her that Ricky doesn't seem to be popular but I can't say it's helping him either.

I thought that pro QS was a phenomenal piece of choreography. It's actually a very old dance tradition that the choreographer would dress differently to the other dancers. It happens less nowadays, but in group numbers you used to see the choreographer wearing a red tie whilst the others all wore black for example.

I think Aliona is a very skilled dancer and she has shown in her pro choreography that she has a lot of creativity there.(Also love her partnership with Matthew) Her QS with Rav was a disaster, but if she comes back I think she would have learnt a lot from the experience. I think she has a lot more to give. I can't help thinking that Katya is a little out of her depth when I watch her in some of the pro dances. I feel Phil had a lot of potential there that she didn't quite draw out of him and I wasn't that impressed with her routines for him.

If I had to drop one of the new pro dancers, it would definitely be Katya for me.

Last year when Lilia choreographed a pro Jive she wore a red dress while the others wore black or gold so I really don't see it as a problem.

I would keep all 3 newbie girls because, although I don't think any of them match the standard of their pro partners, they are a good match in terms of style of dancing.

If Aliona comes back she will definitely have to learn to be more sensitive in her choreo for her celeb (she's not the first one to need to do this, Ola has had to become more adept at this) but have liked her pro choreographed routines. Katya is probably the weakest pro dancer other than Brian (and the anomaly that is Anton!) but I think she is one of the better ones when being interviewed and I did actually like her ballroom routines for Phil - I think anyone would struggle to get the best out of him!

Have loved Natalie and would definitely like her back next year.

But did she though - I remember her quite early on when she was on ITT where she said she thought the judges were wrong in their criticisims of the choreography. Fair enough, she is entitled to disagree with them but it was the way she said it.
